Chapter 4- True Monsters

John's P.O.V.

Ok, I'm about to die, I can come to terms with death, right? Wait! Someone's rounding the corner. "Honey, why are you back this early, you never come back from patrolling this ear- HOLY SWEET CHEESE AND CRACKERS!!" I saw a woman, looked about thirty, brown hair. Yea, I understand why she freaked out. I'm sitting here, bleeding, and it looks like star is also bleeding. "Hi mam." I said. I have always had a knack for joking despite the pain. "ONE H.P.! YOU COULDN'T OF GOTTEN HIM HERE SOONER?!" The woman exclaimed. Again with the H.P. The woman then began lifting me onto her shoulder. I gritted my teeth, it hurt, bad. "Star, go get your father! And quick!" Oh, so this woman knows Star's father. The woman lifted me onto a couch, and began treating my wounds. 'Who are you, might I ask?" I said, gritting my teeth. "I am Frisk, Star's mother." She replied. "WAIT, FRISK!?" "Yes, I suppose you have heard my name before?" "FRISK, LIKE THE GIRL WHO DISAPPEARED FRISK!" "I suppose so, hmmm... Didn't think about what news would be on the surface." "HOW CAN THAT BE POSSIBLE!?" "Please, stop yelling, it's hurting my ears." "Okay, but how, and why didn't you return?" 'I was saved the same way you were, by the flowers, except I was saved by my adopted mom. I didn't return because you can't return, the barrier surrounding this place makes it where, unless you have a monster soul, you can't return. And humans can gather monster souls. Monsters have to have a human soul." "WHERE'S THE KID?!" Someone yelled. "Honey, over here!" Frisk yelled. What I saw next was absolutely terrifying. It was Star, next to A FRIGIN GOAT MONSTER AND A SKELETON! "A GOAT AND A SKELETON! WHEN YOU SAID MONSTERS, I DIDN'T KNOW YOU MEANT LITERAL MONSTERS!!!" I immediately freaked out. When she meant monsters, she meant monsters. "What else would I have meant?" She asked, looking at me with her head tilted. "I-I DON'T KNOW!!! BIGFOOT?!" I exclaimed. "Okay, both of you settle down." The goat said. "I see he's healing. Let's see if I can speed that up." The goat then sat his hand on my arm and "Poof!" the injuries vanished. "H.P. restored!" The goat said. "What the crap! That is so cool! It really is magic!"I exclaimed as I moved my once shattered leg. "Do you think I was kidding? You saw my sword vanish." Star said. "I thought that might of been an optical illusion." I responded. "Nope" That is so cool! So monsters can have healing powers to! "By the way, what's your name?" Star asked. "Oh! I forgot to tell ya, huh? It's John." "Nice to meet ya John." "Star, would you be kind enough to show our guest to his room for the time being?" The woman asked. "Sure!" Star responded. Star lead me through the hallway to a room that said "For Fallen Humans" "Here it is!" She said. "Why in the world do you have a room stocked with cloths, toys, and shoes?" I asked when we entered. "Because my mom fell here just like you did, so she kept this room just in case." she responded. "Odd, but cool." I then said. The room was a light blue with several white decor items. "You can change the decor's color, you know." she said as I was looking around "You can? That is so cool! I wasn't really liking the white." I responded. "Well, you can change it. You can check out the house, and when you ready to go check out the rest of the underground, come find me. I'll be in the kitchen helping mom make a B-Scotch pie. We only make them for special occasions, and I absolutely love them." "Ok" I said, as she left the room. A few minutes of exploring later, I was ready to leave. "Follow me." Star said. She grabbed two coats and started heading for the stairs. "What's the coat for?" I asked. "Just put it on, you'll see." Star responded. " 'Kay " I said.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Hope you enjoyed! There WILL be new characters next chapter! This chapter was really fun and enjoyable to make, I had to take the original two chapters and look at them from another person's eyes, by the way, I will not be doing this often, since it is kinda boring doing the same story twice.
