requested by alicearhea :) peter saves you from falling to death. kind of resembles the scene in ASM2 except you're not gwen and you don't die.Being grabbed off of the streets of Queens and flying fifty feet into the air was not how you pictured your Friday night going, but there you were, struggling to break free from the grasps of Green Goblin.
"Let me go, bastard!" You screamed, the cold night air whipping your hair in all sorts of different directions.
"Not until our friend Spiderman gets here." Goblin said harshly, tightening his grip on you to the point where it felt like your ribs might've snapped. He landed his glider on the clocktower. "The more you fight me, the harder this will be for you."
"What does Spiderman have to do with me?" You asked angrily.
"More than you know," He replied with a disgusting cackle. "If he isn't here in——"
"Let her go!" A voice cut in. You both looked over and saw the hero in red and blue swinging to your rescue.
Green Goblin smirked under his mask.
"Thank God," You sighed in relief. "Now, let me go!" You exclaimed, hitting at the villains chest relentlessly.
"I said don't fight back or I make this harder." He said through gritted teeth. He dropped you to the top of the tower, causing you to fall onto the hard metal with a clash. You groaned as he grabbed you by the forearm, holding you up again. Your head felt like it was spinning. "Now shut your mouth and let me do the talking."
Spiderman swung in by one of his webs and landed in front of you both. He assessed the situation and looked at you for a few moments longer before turning back to Green Goblin. "Harry, please."
"Harry, Please." Green Goblin mocked. He used his free hand to unlatch his helmet, dropping it off to the side to reveal a very disheveled Harry Osborn. One of your best friends.
"Harry?" You looked at him in disbelief. "What the hell?"
"Don't act so surprised," He said casually. His eyes were bloodshot and he looked like he was battling something bigger than himself. "Wait til you figure out who's behind the other mask. Why don't you tell her, or should I?"
You looked at Spiderman and then at Harry.
Even though you couldn't see behind the mask, you could tell that whoever it was, he was struggling to come up with the right words to explain everything.
"Maybe I should." Harry said teasingly.
"Just let her go," Spiderman pleaded, his voice breaking. "This is between us, and us only. Harry, she's done nothing but be there for the both of us. She's innocent in everything."
"You don't think I know that?" Harry scoffed, running his free hand through his messy hair. "I know she hasn't done anything. It's you who's singlehandedly ruined my life!" His voice raised with every word. He smirked at the hero. "And that's why I'm going to ruin yours, too."
You still couldn't wrap your mind around what was happening. Everything was spinning, your ears were ringing. Before you knew it, you were being lifted into the air again. You screamed.
"Harry!" Your eyes started watering as you dangled helplessly. You looked up at your best friend and prayed to whoever was listening that he wouldn't hurt you. "Please, listen to me! I don't know what the hell is going on, but please."
