Chapter Eleven - More On Our Mystery Character

Seeing the dead alive.

~Jess's pov.~

"Y/n is out training with Jain but you can sit here with my sister till she returns. And, I didn't catch your name." Jake says as he lays his sister onto the couch. She fell asleep in his arms on the way here.
"My middle name is LeeAnn and I don't like my full name but, you can call me Jess." I say gently.
"I can't tell them. Not yet." I say to myself.
"Well Jess, I'll be right back I need to talk to slender real quick. Watch over my sister. Please?" Jake says as he walks away with Y/n's friend.
I sit on the couch.
"Hello! My name's Ticci Toby but you can call me Toby." The goggled boy says.
"Oh and this is Eyeless Jack or Ej as we all call him he's our doc." Toby says and leans on the eyeless man's shoulder.
"Toby leave the poor girls alone and let's get you patched up. Just because you can't feel the pain doesn't mean its still not there." Eyeless Jack says as he grabs Toby by the forearm and drags him off.
"I apologize for the inconvenience." Ej says over his shoulder as he walks away.
Lilith stirs on the couch.
"Great just great! Toby's yelling woke her up." I scold inside my head.
She stirs some more.
"Well ain't this just great." I say to myself.
"Hey Lilith. You fell asleep in Jake's arms." I whisper to her quietly.
"Yeah I know." She groans out.
"Looks to me like you've met a few friends already and their all guys. I told you that even without the mask you'd be beautiful. If you can score a guy with the mask," she says and sits up. " You can definitely score one without." she chuckles. Jake walks back into the room with, who I'm guessing, is slender.
"Ah, you must be Lilith and Jess. Jake was just telling me about how you met. I have agreed to let you stay as long as you like but I ask of you, don't demolish the mansion, don't attempt to kill another creepypasta and don't ever bring a human into this house. Understood?" Slender says.
"Yes sir." I say respectfully before slender turns back around and disappears into his office again.
*BANG*
"Ahahahahaha did you see h-" Y/n's stops talking once her eyes meet with Lilith's and my mask. She recognizes me. I prepare myself to run.
"You." She says, a glare wiping across her face. I relax.
"You've been trained for this Jess. You know what to do if she dose anything." I say to myself. Lilith stops me and gets to her feet, stepping right in between me and Y/n. Lilith slips the mask from her face and throws it onto the couch next to me. Y/n stumbles backwards as if she's seen a ghost and falls .
"Y-Y/n?"lilith says trying to approach Y/n.
"It-its me. Lilith." she says stepping a bit closer. Y/n scoots away. Lilith stops walking towards Y/n as she pulls herself up and runs off.

~Y/n's pov.~

I paced the length of my room.
"HOW COULD THIS BE!?!" I screamed inside of my head.
"She-She literally died in my arms. How!?!" I shake violently in rage, fear and sadness. I didn't know what to think.
"Y/n?" Melody's voice sounds silently out the door. I hear her thanks to my abilities.
"Y-yeah?" I choke out now standing on the other side of the door.
"Do you want to listen to music with me?" She nearly whispers.
"Y-yeah." I open the door and motion melody in quickly.
Me and melody sat back and rocked to We are by Hollywood Undead (song above) and forgot about every troublesome thought for about an hour.

~Jess's pov~

"Dinner is ready!" Slender yells. Soon everyone is stumbling noisily out of their rooms.
"Whoop whoop!" Yells Lj, who I've acquainted with lately.
"Food here we come to gobble you up~!" Toby yells dashing through everyone and running recklessly right into a wall. I sigh heavily at his actions.
We all sit down at the long dinner table starring lustfully at the food. All I've eaten lately was organs and trust me, that's not very filling. I pull up my mask only to my nose and wait for us to be able to dig in. Slender makes a signal and every grabs at the food. I take very little of the food. After eating so little for the past five years, my hungering for large portions of food has completely disappeared. I eat only a pork chop and get up from the table. Everyone looks at me weirdly but I ignore the glances as I put my plate in the sink and go into the living room. I looked over to find the book, "I am number four" sitting there. I chuckle. I've read, "I am number four""The power of six" and "The rise of nine." when I look at the bookshelf I gasp.
"THE FALL OF FIVE!?!" I take the book from the shelf.
"No way."
"Yes way." I hear from behind me. I spin around and see Y/n.
"I can't believe you have this book. I've looked all over."
She chuckles.
"What ones have you read?" she asks me.
"I've read "I am number four" "The power of six" and "The rise of nine." I've not read "The fall of five" yet." I say.
"Your welcome the read it any time you'd like."
"Thank you!" I yell.
"Hey. I've got a question."
"Yeah?"
"Dose Bernie Cozard make it?"
"I'm sorry, no spoilers."
"Awwwww man." she says.
"By the way, you can call me Jess. Sorry about interfering with your dreams." I apologize.
"It's okay. Thank you for bringing my sister back to me and my brother in one piece. Knowing that she's still alive, is a stress reliever. How did you find her?"
"Its a long story."
"I would love to hear it."
"Maybe some other time. I recommend spending time with your sister." I say as I turn to go back to my room.

~Time skip~

I look in the bathroom mirror remembering back to when I bleached it.
"We should dye it back to red." Jaden says inside my head.
"True that was a good look for us." Helen says agreeing.
"Okay I might." I whisper under my breath.
It's ever rarely that my other halves speak with me. So I have no other choice but to listen. I pull out the hair dye from my bag.
"Hey, Jess?" It's Jain.
I set down the dye on the counter and walk to the door.
"Yeah?" I say opening the door.
"What are you doing in there?" she asks.
I bite my lower lip before sighing heavily.
"I was going to dye my hair. Could I have your help for a bit?" I ask. I know I've just met her but something about her is comforting.
"I'd love too!" she yells. I "shh" her and pull her inside.
After fifteen minutes, my hair is rinsed out and dried.
"Wow. It looks really good. But seriously, why do you hide your face with this broken mask? You look so pretty with it off." she says picking up my mask and looking at it.
I dry my face off and look in the mirror.
"She's right. It dose look really good." Helen adds.
"And we do look better without the mask but we should really keep the mask anyways. Security purposes." Jaden says.
"Well, I just like wearing it. Makes me feel secure." I say.
"I bet all the guys would get nose bleeds is they saw you without the mask. Except for Jeffrey. He'd want to make you 'Beautiful'." She chuckles and throws me the mask. I catch in between my index and middle fingers before slowly sliding it over my face.
"There. Better." I say to no one in particular.
Me and Jain make our way to the living room. When we get there most of all the guys look at me. Ben, Jeff and Lj are the only ones not looking and I'm kinda glad. When my eyes run across Ej's he looks away like he's bushing.
"Okay now that everyone seems to be here, we can get started." Masky jumps up saying.
