The Rebel Meets The Player

Chapter 2

Later that day I left to go see my new home. I drove up to the house its not what I imagined at all in fact I thought Evan was living in an apartment. Evans house was a two story house its all brick. I walked up to the door and knocked. Well of course I was expecting my brother but no, it was some person I didn't know. My first thought was, 'Maybe I got the address wrong' but I had to make sure before I left.

"Uh I'm looking for Evan Parker." I told him

"Why are you looking for him, cause all I'm saying is that he probably didn't call you back for a reason." Really, that's gross he thinks I'm some random girl that hooked up with Evan. that's just gross.

"That's gross man I'm his sister Aj." I told him

"Oh sorry about that. I guess I didn't notice cause you and your brother look nothing alike." He told me.

"Yeah we get that a lot its cause he has blonde hair and mine is brown and he has my dads looks while I look nothing like my parents."

"Yeah so what brings you here to visit him."

"Well my parents kicked me out and now I have to live with my brother, so could you call him or something and tell him im here."

"yeah come in and make your self at home while I go call him."

"okay" I walked in and sat on the couch I notice there was and xbox360, so I grabbed a remote and turned it on to see what game was in there. It was one of my favorite games, call of duty I quickly joined a game cause some people were playing xbox live. I guess I was so into the game I didn't notice someone sit next to me but I ignored it. After the match was done I notice there were two guys sitting on either side of me.

"Uh who are you and when did you get here."

"My name is Blake and this in Cole and we got here while you were all zoned in on that game. You really good at that game."

"Thanks I guess" Okay how many flipping guys live in this damn house!

"So are you here for Evan" Cole said with a wink and a smirk

"God what is it with you damn people thinking im here for Evan! He is my brother ugh"

"oh" was all they said. Thank god that other guy came to save me from these idiots.

"So when is Evan going to be home?" I asked

"Well he wont be home till around 10 tonight since he has work, but he told me to help you get situated in your room and he also wanted me to tell to stay in since you start school tomorrow." Really. I better play nice and agree so they wont suspect anything from me.

"Okay I wasn't really planning on doing anything today since I already knew I had school tomorrow" I told him

All three guys, Blake, Cole, and the other dude who I found out his name is Sean, helped me take my stuff up to my room on the second floor. Once most of my stuff was put up I texted Jake to see if him and the guys wanted to go out for some food and then maybe a drink, of course he agreed

'Okay great I'll meet yall at the Burger Bar if that's alright?' I texted him

'Yeah that's fine' he replied

'Okay see you in about 10 minuets'

I very much love my room for one, its huge with a walk in closet, and two it has a perfectly great tree outside my window that I can use to get out of the house without anyone noticing. Before I left I turned on the tv in my room so no one would get suspicious. As I stared at tree I looked down to the ground and instantly regretted it. I was on the window sill thinking about just texting jake that I couldn't make it but decided against it. 'Woman up aj, you can do this just focus on the tree' I said to myself and quickly climbed out and down the tree 'thank god thats over' I thought and quickly got into to my car before I could get inside I heard someone call my name.

"Hey Aj" It was none other mister Chase Carter

"What do you want chase" I said with a very annoyed tone

"Nothing really just wanted to be friendly you know since we're neighbors and all" He's got to be lying ugh can life get any better.

"Okay whatever I have places to be" I said and quickly got in the car started the engine which I hope none of the guys inside heard and headed of to the Burger Bar. 

As expected the guys were there before me. I walked and immediately noticed jake he was sitting in a booth with gage and Justin, they're the only ones in the gang that I'm really close too other than jake. I quickly walked over to the booth and sat in the spot next to jake. 

"Hey guys y'all order yet" I asked 

"Yeah but don't worry we ordered your usual for you" Justin told me and I thanked him. 

I knew I had to tell them about chase being my neighbor so I guess it was now or never. "So guys I got some news that's not gonna sit well with y'all and believe me I don't like it either." I told them. 

"What's wrong" Jake quickly said. 

"Well I moved into my brothers house earlier and after I snuck out I ran into chase, turns out he's my neighbor." I told them. I already knew jake was gonna freak out. Him and chase really have it out for each other for some unknown reason.

"Nope, no, not acceptable I don't like it. You're moving in with me." He told me in brotherly tone. 

"Jake calm down its really no big deal. Besides my brother would never in a million years let me move in with anyone right now let alone a guy" I told him 

We ended changing the conversation pretty quickly after that to me starting school tomorrow Im a senior.

I honestly just want to try and rush through this year and get it over with, then I'll have more time to spend with the boss and become his understudy to hopefully take over for him. There's a lot that goes in to being the boss. Which is why want as much education as I can. I'm not really focused on college right now seeing as I know once I finish high school I'm gonna take a gap year before I even think about going to college. 

After we finished our burgers and drinks I had to go seeing as I didn't want my brother to find out I had left. I got to the house quickly parked my car and made my way to my side of the house where my room was at. 'Okay just climb the damn tree and don't look down simple as that' I reassured myself and I did just that. 

"Well well well what do we have here, Aj Parker scared of heights isn't that cute." 

"Suck it chase" I said and flipped him off. So not only is he my neighbor but we literally could see into each other's room. Well I hope Evan has some blackout curtains or something.

So I started this when I was like 16 and I'm 20 now lol I'm sorry not sorry if anything sounds cliche. Anyways I'll try to post more often. Also in not really sure how long this book is gonna  be so bare with me.
