You wake up.

With your eyes still shut you realize you feel nothing around you.

You slowly open your eyes.

There's nothing.

You look around.

Still nothing.

You're surrounded by nothing it's just a void of nothing but light.

It's not blinding.

But otherwise.

Nothing.

You look at your hands.

Feet.

Legs.

Torso.

You're still you.

You're still wearing what you wore last night.

You cry out.

"Hello? Is anybody here?"

No response.

You're alone.

You're scared.

Is this the afterlife?

Did you die?

No.

This doesn't feel like death.

You feel a lump rise in your throat.

Not now.

This is not the time.

You don't understand what you are doing here.

You're frightened.

"I wish I knew what was going on."

You say quietly but solemnly.

Suddenly a loud but calming voice echoes through the void.

"Your wish is granted."

You look around.

Where did that come from?

The voice returns.

"Do not be afraid. You are in the void of wishes, you have been brought here by my command, here, you are able to make wishes, some may come true, some may not, but it is here that you can wish for anything, but wish carefully all actions have consequences, in the end everything will return back to normal."

"Who are you?"

You call out.

No response.

"I wish to know who you are."

"Your wish is granted."
