That night at dinner the air was tense, so tense that even luffy knew that being his bombastic self would set someone off. Everyone ate quietly nami starting to feel bad for even trying to get them together. "More booze!" Zoro slammed his glass on the table that used to be filled with sake. "Don't you think you've had enough?" Usopp glared at him, annoyed that he was the one who broke the silence. "I don't remember asking you anything" he stated back returning her glare, nami decided she would break the tense air "usopp you wanna go into town with me tommorow?" Nami tried to give a soft smile but it came out tense and uncomfortable looking "what? So I can carry all of your shopping bags?" Everyone was shocked at how usopp talked back to nami, they haven't heard usopp say anything like that before. The remark, of course, made zoro a little surprised too, if he wasn't so mad at usopp he would have laughed at the retaliation. Sanji on the other hand didn't find it amusing "watch your mouth" Sanji glared at usopp, his words laced with warning. Usopp glared at him and stood up walking out of the room and to her bed, tomorrow was going to be a long day.

Instead of being the 2nd one up, usopp slept in that morning, waking up in the middle of the night to get some water and trying to calm her cramps was a giant factor in why she slept a lot later. "Usopp wake up!" She heard nami shout at her, cracking open a eye she looked at her "you're going into town with me today" she smiled confident that usopp would say yes. "You were serious about that?" She had both of her brown tired eyes open looking at the red head. "Very" She pulled the covers off of usopp causing her body to fall out of bed and onto the wooden floor. As usopp fell out of bed her bandanna also fell off, nami looked at her hair "you sure use a lot of pens to hold that bandanna on"  nami exams her hair a little more but she stopped shortly after when usopp put it back on and tied it tightly. "Let me put on my boots and I'll be out there" "you're not gonna eat?" Nami was concerned for usopp as usopp wasn't really acting like usopp. "I'll eat later" usopp didn't feel like seeing sanji, he's been acting really aggressive towards her very mean actually. now that she thought about it, getting away from the sunny didn't sound like a bad idea, she could use some time away from zoro and sanji.as she slipped on her boots she could hear the faint voice of luffy outside the door "but I wanna play taggggg" he whines "well he's about to go shopping with me and Robin, he'll play tag with you later" nami scolded. Usopp walked out of the boys cabins "ready" she sighed her cramps still hurt and not to metion her emotions where wild as well as her feelings. "Okay let's go shall we" robin smiled to usopp and all left to the small town. The town had a small shopping center in the middle only having a select few clothing stores. Nami of course went to all of them buying clothes by the piles, and she even bargained the owners of the stores to give her a discount. Usopp was bored, she didn't really care about clothes like that, she just wore overalls which were perfect for building and fixing. But she isn't going to lie and say that some of the clothes didn't catch her eyes. They approached a hair shop, full of products and what not, nami walked in as she was trying to find hair curlers. Usopp was about to let out a sigh but robin smiled at her "why don't you look around for something?" Usopp shrugged and looked for something to moisturize her curly hair, she only used coconut oil and she decided to try something new. As she looked in down the aisle holding the pounds of clothes nami bought she found a leave in conditioner. "Nami could you but me this?" Usopp walked up to the counter where nami was trying to lower the prices to the hair curlers. "And I want what he's getting for free" she smiled. After the 3 hours spent on shopping nami and Robin decided it was time to grab a bite to eat. "Why don't we go to that one?" Robin suggested pointing to the family owned restaurant. After they sat down and ordered their food nami looked at usopp with a grin, "usopp what happened between you and zoro?" Usopp let out and tired sigh "I don't know he was being... zoro" she sighed again taking a drink of water. "Well it kind of seemed like before you two were locked in that room" she started "that you liked him" she finished, usopp felt her heart drop to her stomach and her hands start to sweat. 'Does she know I'm a girl?, will she hate me for lying to her?, do I actually like zoro?'.
