A disgrace.
That's what he was.
A stain on the family's pristine name.
That's what his father thought of him.
Insurgent.
That's what everyone else thought he was.
And they all had the right to think those things. He had stayed locked up in his small cottage for far too long. He had isolated himself, and now, stepping outside into society for the first time in a long time, reality had hit him hard.
Hated.
That's what he was. He was hated by his father. He was hated by the rest of his family. He was hated and judged by the whole population of Iskar. Maybe by all of Allymea, considering how fast word had spread. Now, he could not step foot into a public place without people whispering or pointing fingers at him.
They could have at least given subtlety a shot.
He knew that people would talk. He knew that his father would give him hell for "disgracing" their family name. After all, his father, Hans Hendricks, had been quite the famous hunter back in his youth. But why did all the judgement from others phase him? Why had he been surprised when his father kicked him it of his old home with the instructions to never come back? Why did he even bother to make amends with his so called righteous father?
It was needless to say that since that Christmas dinner with his family, Sebastian's life had gone from bad to worse.
