Meanwhile at home...
Jungkook sat one the floor playing with his toys or drawing while Hoseok was cleaning the house with the vacuum.
A few minutes later the little boy came running to Hoseok while holding a bond paper in his right hand
"Eomma!" Jungkook called out, he now managed to build a small sentence. But otherwise it would be small broken sentences, but still, Hoseok was proud of his little boy. Kookie will go to school next year and he was quite excited about it.
"Yeah?" Hoseok answered turning off the loud vacuum and facing the small bunny behind him. The boy was holding up a drawing, (which he obviously drew by himself) on the picture was their whole family. Hoseok gently took away the paper and smiled gently, for his age, Kookie was really good at drawing. It wouldn't be a surprise if he would be an excellent drawer when he grew up.
"This is beautiful Kookie!" Hoseok exclaimed picking up the small bunny into his arms, Jungkook giggled
"What do want for lunch bun?" Hoseok asked as he went downstairs, while still clutching the paper and Kookie in his arms, Jungkook put on his thinking face and a finger to his chin.
"Anything." He finally answered after thinking, Hoseok let out a tiny laugh and set him on the counter. "Why don't we check the cabinets first." Hoseok decided standing on his tiptoes to check the contents of the first cabinet
After checking all the cabinets the two decided on Kimchi fried rice. It was easy to make for Hoseok, but the boy could literally cook anything and it would taste like it was sent from the heavens above. Yes, it's that good. He still had to pop in by the store later to buy some ingredients for the cookies as a gift for Jimin for making it through the first day of school. After that, he would have to go to his shift for the café.
So here they were now, Hoseok was carefully feeding Kookie.
"Say aaaaa~" Hoseok teased while making the spoon going in a zig-zag direction
"Aaa~" Jungkook giggled opening his mouth for the food to enter, after a few minutes he had successfully fed Kookie and he had already eaten his own plate of food too.
"Mommy?" Kookie called out, they were resting on the couch before they would go out to the store for the cookie ingredients. The small baby was looking up innocently at Hoseok while he played with Hoseok's long slender fingers
"Yeah bun?" Hoseok said looking down at Jungkook, he mentally awed at the cute sight
"Does Mommy love Kookie?" He asked softly, while looking down. Hoseok smiled slightly and took Kookie into his arms, he set him down on his lap and took his chin gently and made him face him.
"Mommy loves Kookie, Jiminie and Daddy very much." Hoseok said exaggerating the 'very much' part, this wasn't really new to Hoseok. There were some moments that Kookie would doubt their love for him, Jungkook's history was hidden and all of it was a blur to him. But there were some scars that couldn't be healed, like being abandoned all alone in an alleyway.
Jungkook was told to wait by the shop (that was near the alley) while the owner was to go in and buy some things needed. Kookie waited and waited for his owner, it took days and he was confused as to why it took so long but he refused to move from his spot. He was very young and gullible.
Until he had to eventually move, he would eat unfinished food from the garbage can and that was until Jimin found him. The two were inseparable after that.
Then Hoseok came. Everything was great after that.
Jungkook now held Hoseok and Taehyung very close to his heart, just like Jimin.
They were family.
They were his family.
