Castle Of Stone is the 3rd story in the "Castle Series" about Aro Volturi and his wife, Sulpicia Volturi. All ORIGINAL Twilight characters belong to Stephenie Meyer and I do not own any of her ideas/plots/characters/etc. The only things I take credit for is the new characters/plots and the friends that help make writing these characters possible.

Omen City is a story of Cera and the rest of the Hybrids/etc in La Push and Forks which is from their point of view's of what happens during Castle Of Stone and will include new twists that will later be mentioned in the later sequels of the Castle Series.

I thank each and every reader who has followed this story from the beginning and continue to follow it! For if not for any of you then I would not be writing this and enjoying giving all of you new chapters and stories to read. Thank you so much =)

And now! The Sequel to Castle Of Glass!

  ~ Castle Of Stone ~

With Cera gone, Sulpicia felt as though she could breathe. She felt as though she had her husband back to her, officially back! Not partially there or partially paying attention to the things that she would say, that he was truly hers again. He felt more close to her than ever and perhaps she did have Cera to thank for that. A smile played across her lips as she sat at the long table in the throne room, on the side side of her husband. He had called a meeting with his witnesses to explain what he alone had decided. Sulpicia did not think this would go perfectly well, but Marcus was behind Aro's decision one hundred percent and that of course would help somehow.

Caius on the other hand was sulking in his seat. Athenodora sat beside him, rubbing her hand comfortingly on his arm as if to soothe his wounded pride and ego, for whatever reason he'd be needing it. The action caused Sulpicia to simply roll her eyes in his direction, he acted like such a child at times it made her wonder how Aro or more importantly, how Athenodora could put up with it. For Sulpicia could barely handle him and she was hardly his "sister"!

This wasn't the time or the place for this type of attitude, but did Caius care? Not once. Sulpicia looked away from him to not anger herself more, turning her attention to Aro. He stood as soon as his last witness took their seat. This was the moment everyone had waited for, Sulpicia could hear the whispers around the table. Some of them were asking each other, did he kill the hybrid? Was she hiding? Or was it something else all together?

She wondered to herself, 'Did they even expect him to send her home?'

"My friends..." Aro began, addressing them all in a simple yet warm manner that made them stop their whispering and look to him at once. "I have gathered you here to thank you for your haste in assisting us in this matter that was deemed important on all thoughts for us. I applaud your thoughts of the case, your clever thoughts that you brought to my attention but I must tell you that..."

Aro briefly paused as he glanced to Sulpicia, almost in hesitation. She sent him a soft smile to comfort him, biting her tongue in worry if it would truly help him or not. But the smile he sent her confirmed that it did indeed help, for he quickly looked back to the vampires before him. "That the hybrid was sent home. I realized that at this moment in time, she was not what we needed to bring to our coven. Now, quite possibly in the future that maybe the case, but as I said it is not now. We will continue to watch her and to make sure she keeps what we are a secret and that her gift does not harm others like us, or the humans that we use to remain alive."

The room was silent. So silent in fact, you could hear the surrounding city that was outside the castle. All the humans who were hurrying to their errands, the children nearby who would be playing out and how they would whisper about the castle. What it would be like to be a princess or a knight in shining armor in such a place. Sometimes, Sulpicia would rest on her balcony to just hear the humans, out of sight she would be but they would speak clearly to her hearing as if they were in the same room with her.

Sulpicia held a special place in her heart for children, even though she could never have one of her own or one in general. It would be too dangerous and to turn it? Would be a crime, it would be unable to control itself around humans. To wait for it to be older? Still, too dangerous. But as of now, Sulpicia could contain her fate of forever being Motherless. Her guards in her home kept her plenty of her toes, especially Jane and Alec. But she would never go as far as saying she felt like their Mother, no one would.

One of the witnesses, whose name always escaped Sulpicia slowly stood from his seat. "You.. let her go? Forgive my frankness, Master Aro, but have you lost what is left of your sanity?" Long silence stretched from the shakey voice of the middle aged sandy blonde vampire that looked only to Aro.

"I believe he has." Caius spoke before Aro had the chance, quickly standing from his seat.

"Caius." Whispered Athenodora, worried for how this would look to their witnesses. Of course, Caius paid no mind to her warning whisper and simply bowed his head to the table full of witnesses and left the room. The vampire whom was still awaiting an answer, had by now took his seat. Obvious tension had grown inside of the room and, Sulpicia for once was not to have it.

She stood at the same time as Athenodora did and gave a pleasant smile to every vampire around her. "Please excuse my Brother, for he has odd feelings with wolves and their hybrids. Athenodora and Aro will answer all your questions as well as Marcus. I will check on Caius as I'm sure his wife may console him later." Sulpicia said, glancing to Athenodora who simply nodded her head. It was a fact, whenever Caius needed a 'tough love' sort of talk or order, Sulpicia or Aro were the ones to give it to him the best.

Even though Athenodora was his wife, she often chose which were the battles she would win and which were not. Usually, Aro would speak with Caius and then Athenodora would make sure it sank into his mind, which is what mates helped to do. Clear their husband's minds.

But, for this situation? Sulpicia knew better. Athenodora agreed with Caius, she was angry that the hybrid was simply 'let go'. This would not be the situation in which she could handle. Sulpicia simply curstied to the room and leaned over to her husband, kissing his cheek as she left the room. She found Caius in the library with other vampires whom were restocking the shelves with new and old kind of books that were especially ordered earlier that week.

They paused at once when they saw her. "Leave us." She said sharply, to which within a blink of her eye, they were gone.

"Caius..." She began, but stopped abruptly once she heard his voice begin.

"No. Do not start to me, Sulpicia." Caius turned to face her at once, his eyes had by now turned black with his anger and his arms were tightly behind his back. "You of all ones here, I expected to be on my side of this."

"Caius! I wanted her gone! I did not care how." She gaped at him, shocked of his words. How dare he think she would not be in the same mindset!

"Oh I know you did not care. And because of your not caring? This will come back to... as a more proper term... bite us in return. That... so called young adult will be a problem for us in our near future, mark my words."

He hissed out at her which caused Sulpicia to straighten her back in defiance, narrowing her eyes as she equally hissed, "Consider them marked. But Caius-"

"And did you notice the way he dotes on her? Because of her power. Of her having a power. Your wanting her gone, no matter how, took away the only chance you could have had to have her removed from our existence permanently! Because the love he bare you is so strong he let her go and it will only make his mind change once he realizes how cruicial her and her kind will once be to us! So do not dare start with me on this matter, Sulpicia. For you have lost the right." Caius quickly stalked past her in an angry matter, slamming the door closed behind him as he left Sulpicia standing in surprise.

He spoke of things that she secretly feared. But she had to think that he was wrong. She had to believe that he was wrong.

Because Aro would never do that to her, he would never bring the hybrid back into their lives, as well as the rest of her kind... would he?
