Jayson's P.O.V.

I sighed as I walked home. I was drenched from head to toe in water and the rain was still beating down on my back.

Suddenly something hard collided with my body. I fell back and landed with my but in a puddle. A guy in a suit and with and umbrella quickly stepped into a cab and drove off.

As I stood up I noticed he'd walked out of a café. I looked through the window.

There weren't a lot of people, and it seemed very nice and cosy. I bit my lip and contemplated on whether I should go inside or not. My mom would be at work until eight, so I still had time to make dinner when I got home.

My mind made up I opened the door and stepped inside. The warm air wrapped around my body and I sighed in content. Readjusting my backpack I walked towards one of the booths in the back and took a seat, dropping my books next to me.

It was quite a comfy place. The couch like benches of the booths were covered in a soft green material and had yellow cushions to match. The booths weren't that tall though, I could see the people in the booth next to mine if I turned my head to the side.

From what I could see there were two guys and one girl. But I could only see her brown/blond curly hair since her back was facing me. The guy that sat next to her had straight hair, with similar highlights. Maybe they were brother and sister.

I was brought out of my thoughts when a waitress came by and asked me if I wanted to order anything.

"No, I'm fine." I answered, I didn't have any money on me.

The girl shrugged and walked away, her black heels clicking against the floor.

Suddenly someone tapped me on my shoulder and I jumped in my seat.

"What's your name?"
