Catalina's P.O.V.

I snuggled deeper into Jayson's chest. Stupid alarm.

"Lina?"

"Hmmm?"

"We've got to go to school."

I sighed. Before mumbling an 'okay'.

Jayson let me use the bathroom first while he made breakfast. When I was done I walked downstairs, the smell of waffles filling my nose.

I sat down at the wooden dinner table just as Jayson finished putting sugar powder on the waffles.

He jumped a little when he saw me seated but then smiled and placed the plate in front of me.

"I'm just gonna go get dressed." He said.

"Aren't you eating first?" I asked.

"I already ate."

He came back down five minutes later with a fresh pair of jeans and a shirt.

"Are you ready to go?"

"Yes."

Jayson grabbed his school bag and proceeded to walk towards the front door.

"Do you have um, something you need to get from your place?"

I shook my head and with that we left for school.

We were in a comfortable silence when I thought of something.

"Jayson?"

"Yeah?"

"Why did your mother sound so annoyed last night?"

"Oh, uh... She was probably watching her favorite TV-show or something."

I nodded.

When we got to school I noticed some posters hanging on the walls.

"Jayson, what's a Halloween party."

We'd reached his locker and he was busy shoving some books inside.

"That's just a party the school gives each year to celebrate Halloween. So basically it's just like any other school party only everybody comes dressed up. Halloween's actually on the 31st but I guess it's not a good idea to have a party on a school night."

"Do you want to go?"

"Not really?"

"Would you like to go with me?"

Jayson froze and stared at me.

"Uh, I guess but I don't have a costume."

"I'd like to make you one." I said, smiling.

"Uh okay um, when do I pick you up then? And uh, where exactly?"

"I'll come to your place, around an hour before the party starts."

"Okay."

The bell went and I couldn't help but notice the smile that had crept unto Jayson's face.

This party would give me the perfect opportunity to tell him.
