SINGULAR VS. PLURAL

Singular= one
Plural= more than one.
There are spelling differences. If not spelled correct, it can get into more of the possessive version of a word. Not that I can preach much about spelling. I can't spell worth a damn.

Singular words: basically any noun you can think of.
Baby
Cat
Dog
House
Person
Tree
Door
Simple.

Plural. Add an "s" more most things. However, there are a good portion of words that need and "ies" at the end. If it ends in "y", you need an "ies"
EX:
Cats
Dogs
Babies (baby)
Duckies (ducky)
Bunnies (bunny)
Trees
Doors
People (I don't get this one. It's just how it is. Someone people say persons and that's just weird so. Do what you want, both are technically correct.)

There are some outliers:
Moose - moose
Goose- geese
Mouse- mice

If you were to take baby and add and "s" and make it babys, it'd be incorrect. Babys is the apostrophe-less version of Baby's, which is the possessive to baby. That is the baby's bottle.

Now there are also singular and plurals of other words.

They're- plural.
Their-plural. (I'm going to go into this more later so keep this in mind)
Were- plural (you don't say "I were about to go to the mall."you say " I was about to go to the mall.")

I don't know how to better explain that but I don't see a lot of issues in that aspect.

Recap: SOME PLURALS ARE SPELLED DIFFERENTLY AND SOME DONT FOLLOW RULES AT ALL.

Thanks for reading.
