Save her

*ring ring ring ring*

"Turn that bloody thing off Swan!" Killian grumbled into his pillow
"Hello!" Emma answered the phone sleepily
"Emma! Finally I've been ringing you all morning!" David breathed heavily down the phone as if he was out of breathe
"I know, I ignored it for a reason!"
"Why?"
"Because it's half past 5 and I had a long night!"

Killian shuffled closer and wrapped an arm around her as if to say sorry,
"You need to come down to the hospital!"
"What? Why? Is Henry ok?!"
"Henrys fine I think, well he's not answering either actually, but I think you want to see this,"
"Is it Ann, has something happened? Do you know that it's her now?"
"Technically yes! Well we know it's not August anyway..."
"How?"
"Because he's just arrived!"
"Is he ok?!"
"He's not dead but I wouldn't go as far as to say he was ok,"
"I'm in my way!"

"What's happening?" Killian rubbed his eyes sleepily as she stood up to throw some clothes on
"They've found August!"
"What? So it wasn't him?" He sat up in bed, instantly feeling guilty that he'd given her such a hard time about it
"Nope, I've gotta go,"
"Can I come?" He begged, already expecting the answer to be no
"Only if you can get dressed really quickly"

"Emma!" David sighed in relief as she ran in with Killian hot on her trail,
"What happened?" Emma asked
"The dwarves were doing there line patrol and they found him in the forest," he was breathing heavily like he'd done a lot of work "when he woke up he was pretty distressed, he knocked out a male nurse until we detained him, he was shouting something about 'she's coming'  and 'save her'..."
"Who was he talking about?" Killian frowned
"I have a pretty good idea who 'she' is but who was he saving?" Emma guessed, she told the boys to stay there and then slowly walked into the room where he was handcuffed to the bed,"

"Emma!" His eyes shot open and he tried his best to sit up but the metal chaining him to the bed wouldn't allow him to "you need to get of here it isn't safe!"
"Why?" She walked closer when she realised he wasn't going to freak out
"She's coming..." he gasped for air
"August?!" She panicked running over and pressing the panic button "what's happening?"
He started to shake uncontrollably and then grabbed Emma's arm and pulled her close.

"Swan!" Killian growled running in with whale and David. He ran to her and tried to unravel his fingers which were painfully squeezing, almost breaking her wrist.
"Save her!" August let go of Emma's wrist "you're the only one who can!" He told Killian.
"You all need to get out!" Whale shouted as nurses filed in with big machines.

"You alright Swan?" Killian panted, grabbing her wrist gently, she nodded but winced when he touched her sore wrist.
"What was he saying?" David asked
"Something about the same her again," Emma explained clutching her wrist
But Killian was still worried about what he had said to him... what did he mean by only he can save her?

"Do you want to go and get your wrist checked and we'll wait here?" David offered
"No I'll be fine," she shook her head
"Swan," Killian gave her a 'don't test us on this' look
"What's happening?" Snow asked walking in to them all looking as if they'd seen a ghost
"Emma's hurt her wrist and she's being stubborn," David explained
"Come on," snow rolled her eyes and tugged her daughters leather jacket to pull her while she cradled her obviously hurt wrist.
"Where is anne?" Emma asked when they wondered past the room that the 'fake August' was in
"Regina was watching her and then when August came in she took her eyes off her for a minute at most and she disappeared," snow explained
"Great," Emma shivered thinking about everything august warned him about
"You alright Em?" She asked
"I will be," she shrugged

"You alright?" David asked Killian who was obviously deep in thought
"What? Oh erm Ye I'm fine,"
"You don't look it,"
"It was just something August said,"
"What did he say?"
"He said that I had to save her... that I was the only one that could,"
"What do you think he meant?"
"I'm not sure..."

"Guys, he's awake," whale announced
"Do you want to go in first?" David offered
He nodded a thanks and entered the room
"Hook?" August looked even more ill then before
"Aye mate," he nodded walking closer
"I'm sorry about before, I didn't mean to hurt Emma, I just had to say everything before my time ran out,"
"What did you mean?"
"Exactly what I said, you must protect the saviour, you're the only one who can"
"Why?"
"Because you're her true love, she is already the product of true love which means that your love is magnified you are basically the strongest magic in all the realms,"
Killian gasped and gulped, he knew she loved him but he never knew it was this deep.
"How do I save her?" He begged for an answer for his 'true love'
"It's simple..."
He frowned as he started to fall into a deep sleep
"Whale!" Killian shouted for help "wait August how do I save her?"
"You just have to love her."

"You alright swan?" Killian asked as they met outside the hospital
"Ye it was just a sprain, what happened with August?" She let him fuss over her because deep down she was really tired physically and emotionally, she just wanted him to take her home.
"He is weak but stable, Regina and zelena have both put protection spells around him and as far as we know anne doesn't have any actual magic just objects of magical properties," David explained as Killian pulled Emma into a hug.
"Well I don't think anything else is going to be done here tonight, I say we call it a night and return tomorrow," snow suggested
"Agreed love," Killian nodded taking Emma's hand in his and wrapping his arm round he shoulder. Emma opened her mouth but when he thought she was about to disagree..."nope I won't take no as an answer love, come on I'll run you a bath," he kissed he temple
"I'd never say no to a bath," she nuzzled her head further into his side and smiled contently. He always had a way of making her relax and forget all the ways that her life was screwed up because it's all worth it when she gets her family at the end.
