Chapter 5- Cold?

~Your P.o.v~

You felt yourself start to heat up in worry and sweat roll down your face as you trembled nervously. You didn't know what to do, but you knew that if you didn't do something about this the little gem could end up hurting herself further. You ran over to her side and picked her up, bridal style. She was fairly small, and not to mention cute- In your opinion.

~Aquamarine P.O.V~

I was picked up by the being, and I was shaking madly- But only because this human's arms were shaking. I tried to seem annoyed, but on the inside I was terrified and also a bit relieved, that I was about to be taken care of.
The human sat me down on a soft cushion-like thing, also known as a 'couch.' They took their finger and gently ran their finger along the scratch on my fragile little gem, and I flinched, also making a sound of clear discomfort. It hurt quite a bit.
The human stood up and seemed to search for something that can help in any way. They walked over to a table thing and took something out. It was like a small container with liquid inside.
"Steven told me to use this if there's any scratches or cuts on my skin," The human stated.
"Maybe if I apply this to your gem, it will heal," they continued.
I just released a soft grunt in response, even though I was desperately willing to get my gem healed any way possible. The human came back over to my side, dropped a bit of the liquid onto their finger, and started rubbing my gem, gently, with the same finger.
At first I winced, worried that this would have some weird side effect. But then I started to feel the pain inside of me ease and my vision become clear.
"Now, as far as I'm concerned this may have some side effects, like severe and sudden cold," they continued speaking, "so be careful."
Cold? Being a gem I didn't really understand how I could feel cold- and then I felt my body starting to shiver, the inside of me freezing up and my eyes starting to narrow.

I was cold.
