Chapter 7- Aquamarine's savior

~Your P.O.V~

You looked to the door, very alarmed now that the Crystal Gems burst in.

There was a moment of silence as they stared at Aquamarine, clearly showing no mercy. Then they charged at her, summoning their weapons.

Aquamarine yelped in her childish voice and leapt out of the blanket and into your arms, hugging you for her dear life.

"Please! I don't want to spend the rest of eternity in nothingness!"

She squealed, tightening her grasp around you. Your sudden question was, why did she think you were safe to come to in this case?

"Wait! Stop--"

You let out a small yell, not that loud but loud enough for te gems to hear. The gems still held their weapons tight as they stood in front of you, listening to you. Garnet was the most attentive, Amethyst didn't seem to care, and Pearl was anxiously looking from Garnet to you. Steven looked interested in what you had to say.

"Maybe we can.. Give her a chance.. I'm not quite sure what she had done to upset you all so much, but just maybe..?"

Aquamarine looked up at you, her eyes glimmering with a feeling she never felt before. It was the feeling that she could actually trust someone, and actually have real hope. (sorry that sounds cheesy lmao)

Garnet considered for a bit, the gang looking at her. She then fixed her visor thing and nodded.

"Will do."

Pearl gave Garnet a worried look.

"B-but, Garnet! What if sh-"

"Shh, everything will be fine. Now let's go. We'll let (Your Name) take care of Aquamarine, since we have a mission to finish. And Steven, you're coming with us."

And just like that, the group left on their warp pad. As you watched them disappear, Aquamarine was lost in her thoughts.

But what could she possibly be thinking about??
