Chapter Three; The Mall Visit

Za’Toya and I has been on our grind ever since we started working at Club Max and just bought our cap and gown, we graduate in one week. Now that it’s close to graduating, we need to go shopping and like always donate to girls in my situation that have been raped. As we pull up to the mall, I see this fine, light skinned, skinny, swaged out boy walking into the mall with his friends. Za’Toya knew I saw something I liked because she let me straight out in the entrance. “What you doing, he’ll see us when we walk into the mall, you already know.” Za’Kyra said. Za’Toya laughed and parked the car the closet to the mall entrance. Before we walked into the mall, I made sure I lip glossed my lips up. Za’Toya and I walked into the mall together laughing about something that happened in school earlier, when the light skinned boy accidently bumped into Za’Kyra. Za’Kyra looked back, smiled, and kept going, but one of Za’Toya’s long lost crushes bumped into her and he looked way better now than he looked back then. I knew Za’Toya just had to stop and talk to him, show off her macking skills. So, while they talked I went to Sub Way to eat because I was starving and had forgotten to have breakfast when I woke up this morning. As I was waiting in the line for my sandwich, the light skinned boy came up behind me and said, “Wassup Lil’ Mama.” “I got a name and trust and believe it isn’t Lil’ Mama! “I said kind of irritated. “Dang, I’m sorry, but I couldn’t keep my eyes off you. My name is Kenyon, I’m 19, and think you are very beautiful, “He said in a sexy voice. I smiled, paid for my sandwich and drink, and walked to find my sister. When I finally found my sister, I walked back to her and looked back just to see him watching me from head to toe. Za’Toya was looking at me with her happy face and said, “I got a date with Justin, I got a date with Justin!” I was so happy for her, I gave her a hug, and then we went down to eat. Well we were sitting down eat our food and talking, one of Kenyon friend’s came here to the table. “Excuse me miss, my friend Kenyon likes you a lot and was wondering if you wanted to go on a date.” Kenyon’s friend said. I looked over and around the cafeteria, but couldn’t find him anywhere. Za’Toya looked at me, then back at the Kenyon’s friend and said “Don’t you guys hang out with Justin, or the other way around.” “Justin, yea that’s our homeboy.” Kenyon’s friend said in a cute voice. “Umm, I wouldn’t like to go on a date with Kenyon, but tell him I said thanks for the offer.” I said in a sexy voice. Kenyon’s friend looked at me and smiled! I tried to watch where he went, but was interrupted when Za’Toya gave me the Tf’ wrong with you look. “Just playing hard to get, nothing wrong with that!” I said offended. “Za’Kyra he is too fine for you to be playing games, but gone do you thang!” Za’Toya said happily. When Za’Toya and I got done eat Kenyon slipped some flowers in my hand and walked out the mall with his crew and didn’t even look back like nothing just happened. I looked at the flower, they were roses, a dozen roses and a pretty light purple card attached. The card read “You look so beautiful and I want you to be my one and only. Text me or call me beautiful. Kenyon! <3”
