This story is about...The 1st person to teach Martial Arts of Wing Chun. He was Bruce Lee's Master and Ip had many students....he only asked...for respect.
Yip Man known as Ip Man ....Master of Chinese Martial Arts...he was the 1st to teach it. He was an officer when he came to Hong Kong. After the war that was going on his brother lost memory...but Master Ip fed his brother everday.
Master Ip lived in a small home with his wife and son and a soon to be born child. They lived poorly like everyone else and barley had money to pay their rent. Master Ip wanted to teach his Martial Arts in order to get paid once a month.
Master Ip had students that paid him to teach them Martial Arts.... In Master Ip's alone time he would train himself with a wooden figure.

Master Ip had a dream to open up his school but the most important thing he asked was respect....and only respect. "All I ask is for us to respect one an other as equal...we are not all perfect", he told his students. "Yes Master we will train hard and make you proud".
But my dear friends....I will write this...about Master Ip and at the end...of this story I will write about when he trained the famous Bruce Lee.
Master Ip decided to go to a Martial Arts Club to fight a boxer known as The Twister. But the Master's treated him wrong because Master Ip didn't know the rules of Martial Arts....he knew....his own. "Master Ip....if you stand on that table and fight each one of us one by one...then your in", said Master Hong coldly. Master Ip nodded. He accpeted the challenge...for what??....for respect and only respect.
Everytime one of his students were in trouble he would try to explain so the fighting or trouble would stop... Thats was what he was trying to do at that momment......
