Superheroes
Brave for those you love
Martyr for stranger and friend
To all, you fly so high above
But heights still make your insides bendFirstly comes your life, then tragedy ensues
Neglect your inner pain, to accomplish pointless task
Catastrophe and pain, from which the hero brews
And to the world's our savior, but truth's behind the maskLatching onto things
Symbol just for you
Ideas of such things ring
And in ourselves we hide what's trueFighting demons deep within
Evil leaving scars
Lighting over shadows win
Prescription behind barsCowelled cowards surround us all
Soaring supers afraid to fall
Human heroes in shadows bawl
With no support, we must stand tall~ JD Campbell
