Friends, Vlogs, and Love

"Trin... Trin... TRINITY" I heard the faint sounds of my room mate yelling as she tried to shake me awake.

"What?" I looked at Liza with a glare. Her curly hair was tied into a bun and her face was laced with some light makeup.

"We're meeting David and his friends today. Get ready," she said sternly, almost as if she was my mother.

"Fine, mom," I mocked getting out of bed. I looked in my closet for a cute outfit. I did want to make a good first impression on the new people I was being introduced to. After all it was Liza's crush and his friends, and I'm her best friend. I put on a cute, casual outfit and put on some natural makeup. My look was finished with my hair tied into a perfect, slicked back ponytail.

Once Liza was done getting ready, we grabbed the keys to my car, threw on our bags and left our small LA apartment. As we were walking from the car to an unfamiliar gate, Liza called David to buzz us up. Once we got to the door, we knocked. David, who was a little younger than me and Liza by a couple of months, answered. He was wearing all black, with longish dark brown hair. He was holding a vlog camera when he answered.

"Hey guys," he said setting down the camera.

"Hi David," Liza said with a sparkle in her eyes.

"Hey David," I said trying to hold back a laugh at Liza. She punched me lightly on the arm and we walked inside. (A/N: I know David lives in his house but it's easier to write about the apartment and it's more well known) On the couch, there were two guys sitting there and a bunny on one of the guy's laps.

"This is Dom," David said pointing to a guy with faded pink hair and reddish pink eyes.

"'Sup," Dom said casually. Liza and I waved to Dom and smiled.

"This is Alex," David pointing to the guy with the bunny on his lap. He had rustled hair and thick framed black glasses. He was wearing a dark blue shirt and khaki shorts.

"And this is Bailey," Alex said holding up the little white bunny. If a snow ball was an animal it would be Bailey. 

"Guys, this is Trinity and Liza. They moved here a few months ago," David explained, now the camera in his hand again. While David and Liza were talking about who knows what, I sat next to Alex and started petting the bunny.

"He's so cute!" I exclaimed. His smile glistened back at me with a laughter that could affect a whole room. After about 15 minutes David and Liza suggested we go to Target, but Dom stayed at the apartment.

*15 Minutes Later At Target*

David and Liza were filming puns for the vlog and Alex and I were walking around the store with a cart. Alex and I scavenged for decor to fill Liza and I's very boring apartment. With Liza's bubbly personality and my love for all things simple and bright, our beige colored walls and few throw blankets didn't make the cut. I brought Alex along because I wanted to be alone with him. He was so sweet. In the vlogs, he's known as the aggressive, angry guy, but he has the kindest, softest personality. 

"Maybe you can come and help me set up this stuff in my room," I said pushing the cart with frames, lights, pillows, and blankets.

"Yeah, with you and Liza being so short I don't know how you expect to hang up these fairy lights," he said laughing. I sarcastically rolled my eyes and we continued to grab little fake succulents and glass pineapples that we didn't need. As we made our way around we eventually found David and Liza making a stupid pun about a strange soda's name. 

*After Leaving Target*

"Liza, I have all of this stuff do you think that David could drive you home?" I said carrying a huge Target bag, and Alex followed behind me carrying another one.

"Yeah, sure. I don't think David minds," Liza said, looking at David. David shakes his head. Alex and I walk out to my car.

*Small Time Skip*

When we got to my place, we set down the bags. I walked towards the kitchen offering Alex some chips or a drink. He refused and I grabbed a water bottle. Alex started to unload the throw pillows and fake succulents. I soon followed. Liza and I's apartment started to feel more like home by the second. It was starting to get late, we were both getting tired so I walked Alex to the door. He was so hot. 

"It was nice spending time with you today," Alex said smiling.

"Yeah I had a good time. Too bad we never got those fairy lights up," I giggled. 

Time seemed to freeze and before I knew it our lips molded together and we kissed. We looked at each other and laughed. We said our good byes and I closed the door. It was happening. I was falling for a boy in California. Then, my euphoria was interupted by yelling I heard in the hallway.

"I GOT IT ON MY CAMERA ALEX" yelled a familiar voice.

"DAVID YOURE NOT USING IT IN THE VLOG," Alex yelled.

"THATS WHAT YOU THINK."
