Anam's POV
There it was, the day I was waiting for so long. I was going to meet my so called husband. He is a brother of a billionaire.
"Hey, Anam, wake up!" Fatima said, shaking my shoulder.
"Hm. I am awake." I growned.
I hurriedly got up, prayed Fajr and then me, Fatima and Aisha talked for many things. We talked like we will never see each other again. Which, was true seen from one side. If viewing it from another, I will be happily married.
I couldn't stop think about Ahmad. I was so happy. The Istikhara prayer said yes for both of us, so our parents decided we should marry. He had many proposals, me too but he said that he felt good when seeing me. I felt that way too if I had to talk seriously.
We were ready and went downstairs.
We exchanged rings and now we were one step closer to marrying.
Fatima's POV
I sat on the chair across Ahmad's brother, when I lifted my gaze the person I saw shocked me.
"What? Anam is marrying the brother of that arrogant paagal?"
——Paagal means crazy, mad in Urdu/Hindi.——
I thought how Anam went into such a family. But Ahmad is not a bad person, only his. His brother is making me scared. And now sitting across from him, I think that my heart is going to explode from so much fear.
"Fatima, meat your brother-in-law." Ammy said. I looked at the paagal and tried to speak as much confidently as I could.
"Hello, my name's Fatima, nice to meet you." I said, still feeling a lump in my throat. He looked at me, like he was checking me out, and then spoke.
"My name's Waqas, nice to meet you too." He mumbled, and looked me with a you are so beautiful look.
I hated the way he was watching me.
If I could, I would take out his eyeballs, so he couldn't be able to stair me that way.
"So, we are going to be in-laws?" He said with a smirk and looked my direction, probably searching for my eyes, which were everywhere else but not on him.
"Yeah, I guess we will be soon." I said a bit stammering.
It was the time to tell him sorry I guess. Isn't it so that at least one of us had to tell sorry?, so I will be the one.
"Um, I wanted to say sorry for colliding with you. I hope you had your meeting and you succeeded." I tried to sound as much cheerful as I could. He looked at me with his usual smirk and said:
"Hmmm, I forgive you but only on one condition."
"What is it?" I said, stairing scared in his hazel eyes.
"Marry me. We won't make engagement after Anam's, we will do it with them. I even have the ring, and I have talked to our families." He said, checking me out again. Maybe he wanted to be sure if he is getting married to the right person.
"Um, ok... I, I accept." I said looking more scared than before.
"But only if you decide not to marry me in the last moment, I will break Anam's weadding too. So Miss Fatima, you have no other choice, but to marry me." He whispered, almost growling into my ear before getting up from his seat.
"Ok. I... I will do everything for my sister. Even if I have to sacrifice my own life." I told him and poured water into my cup.
