Chapter 4

Okay I'm sorry again. I suck i know. I'm literally tired and i kinda think this book sucks but i guess i will update it.

The sun shone bright light from the window. Yesterday still remains like a dream. Whatever that happened, i really can't believe jimin asked me out.

I guess i have to get my day going. Go to the library and repeat. Hopefully, all these torturous journeys to the library will be beneficial.

" Namjoon, can you come down if you're awake already ? " mom shouted from the kitchen.

I dragged my legs and walked down the stairs. The smell of walnut pancakes filled the kitchen.

" mom can i have two of those ? " i sat down already ready with my fork and knife.

she smiled and got the plates ready. after serving the food she sat down and started eating.

" are you going to the library with jin again ? " mom asked.

" of course, nothing new mom. " i chuckled.

she nodded and continued eating.

Me and my mom have been living together for the past 15 years together . just us two. My dad left us when i was 5. By left i mean running away from his responsibilities.

So by then, we live on our own. We had each others backs and we know that it's enough , we don't need a father figure in this house. So , she's everything I've got.

Her phone started ringing and her ringtone , Twice "Signal", went off.

Before picking it up, she hold her fingers of their signature move and danced cutely and then answering it.

As her conversation with the caller went on , i ate my pancakes and scrolled through my phone.

* message from jimin. *

Jimin : Good morning honey buns. Are you awake?

: Good morning to you too. I am, unfortunately.

Jimin : Need that extra sleep huh ? And for what i will assume, my contact name is still just Jimin right ?

: of course not ! It's " Baby Jimin "

* contact changed to Baby Jimin. *

Baby Jimin : that's cute but i don't like the term baby.

: aww why not baby ? ㅠㅠ

Baby Jimin : If that makes you happy then Baby Jimin it is.

" Namjoon can i talk to you ? " mom suddenly said as she puts down her phone.

: I have to go. I'll see you at the library okay ! :*

"yes mom ?"

She sighed and started to pout.

" are you okay ? is everything okay mom ? " i started to worry.

" everything is okay. but namjoon. my dearest son.  I know that the important exam is coming soon and that studying is important but, can we take 2 days off ? " She broke the news and a soft tone.

As much as i wanted a break, i can't risk two days since the exam is in 2 weeks.

" what's the matter? " i asked.

" it's grandma's birthday remember? Aunt Jisoo just called and said that your grandma wants to see all the kids and spend 2 days with her. what she says , a birthday sleep over. " she continued , " you know how much she loves you right ? "
