Hiyori is finally going to college! Everything is completely fine. Her parents say their goodbyes, even Yato, Yukine and the gang are saying goodbye. Yeah. Everything's fine. Yup. Nope. No it's not. Now, since Yato is not with her, Hiyori has a hard...
"Uh...I think you have heard wrong. I can not see Gods or any other mythical creature you may think of." I plastered a fake smile on my face hoping she wouldn't think I'm lieing.
"You're lieing to me. It's so easy to tell when people are lieing. Don't worry. I can too." I looked at her with suprise.
"Have you ever met them? Or any of them for that matter?" I looked at her and she made direct eye contact. It was hard to make eye contact back so I kind of squirmed. Then we just talked about gods.
"So then.....What are you? You have that tail don't you?" After she asked me that question, I began to find a friend or someone I can actually talk to about these problems that I have been having recently. So I told her about the near-shore and far-shore and how I was in neither of them so my soul could go out of my body.
"So... whenever I first found out about this, I met a god named Yato. His full name is Yaboku, the God of Calamity. He was such a small bean! Just kidding, he was so sweet and over protective. Not that he still isn't though, but we still keep in touch, and he is my best friend. He protects me with his regalia. His name is Yukine-kun. I love them both so much. They also have Bishamon, the God of war, and Kofuku the God of Poverty at their side so whenever they need help, they can ask those two. Plus all of their regalia's-"
" Okay, but Miss Iki what does this have to do with you?" I kept thinking about that question for the rest of the day. I have no idea what they had to do with me. I was walking into my dorm when I ran into someone. I bowed and said, "I am sorry. It is I who is t fault I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings." I looked up to see that it was Katsume.
"Oh. Hello Hiyori. What are you doing?" I looked puzzled for a moment. Then answered.
" Oh nothing. I was getting ready to see if I had any mail, then go to my dorm.
" You don't have to bow now. Everything is good."
"Oh!" I stood up and thanked him. After checking my mail, I went up to my dorm and sat on the bed. I looked over to see Haku, getting dressed.
" Hey where are you going?"
"None of your business." She said sternly as she walked away.
" You look pretty!" I shouted as she closed the door behind her. Great I was being ignored by my roommate. I guess I did kind of embarrass her today.... I can't believe this is my first day and I made such a fool out of myself. I looked into the mirror and decided to call Yato. I dialed his number and it started to ring.
"Hey Hiyori!" It sounded like he was so excite to hear from me. "Yukine! It's Hiyori!" Yukine-Kun brought everyone else to the phone so they can hear me. "So, what's it like being in college, Hiyori?" Asked Yato.
"Well today I made a complete fool of myself. And it's all because of the guy sitting next to me named Kuro Jung. I hate his guts so far."
"Sounds like you're loving it there." Said Yukine-Kun in a sarcastic voice.
" I know right?" I said giggling. "I will be coming down on the holidays so that I can visit everyone. I can't wait to see you guys again! It seems like it's been forever!"
"Yeah we can't wait to see you either!" They all said in a cheerful voice.
"Ok, I've gotta run I will try to talk to you guys tomorrow ok?"
" Wait Hiyori." Yato said with urgency.
"Yeah what is it Yato."I said blushing a little.
"Check your mail. Ok see ya!" Then he hung up. What a wierdo. I guess I will have to seriously go to sleep because somehow it's already 8. I went over to my window and looked out of it to see the beautiful scenery. It's almost fall but cherry blossoms are still there. It's so pretty.
I walked over to my dresser and took out some pajamas and some underwear to go take a shower. The hot water on my back made me feel so good. Personally my favorite part of the entire day today was the shower. I love feeling it run down my back. I got out of the shower and heard the front door open and close. What does this have to do with you? I kept repeating in my head and I just can't seem to find an answer yet.
"Hey Haku, is that you?" I got no reply and just heard footsteps coming to the bathroom door. I quickly locked the door, and took 2 steps away from it.
"Who's there?" I questioned with my heart beating 20 times a second. I started shaking.
"It's just me." I recognized that voice. Then I looked down to see I had nothing on and sort of fell.
"Are you ok?"
"Yeah I'm fine." I said getting up. I rapped the towel around me and unlocked the door. Opening the door I saw, them? What?
