POV Winter.

"Where do you wanna go now?" Mason asked, after we rode around aimlessly for an hour.

"Let's go to the beach." I smiled slightly. "I wanna see the sunset."

"I know the perfect spot for that." Mason answered before closing his face shield.

I shut mine as well and wrapped my arms around him. He sped down the road and pulled up on the parking lot near the beach.

We walked along the shoreline then through a small forest and ended up by some big rocks. We climbed up and sat down on one of the biggest rocks.

"Wanna talk about it?" Mason asked after fifteen minutes of silence.

"Rather not." I said while shaking my head a little.

"Great because I suck at comforting." He sighed in relief, causing me to laugh.

"You're probably great at it. I've noticed you prefer to listening over speaking." I told him. "Sometimes all a person needs as comfort is a listening ear."

"That's pretty deep." He said impressed. "Do you need a listening ear?"

"Sometimes but I don't wanna trouble you." I dismissed it.

"You won't trouble me, you're part of the group now. I'm sure both of us just need to get used to one another." Mason assured. "So, why don't you start with the jerk we just met?"

"He is my ex." I answered. "We dated for a year and a half. And as you know, I used to have a twin sister."

"I remember that yeah." Mason nodded.

"Well, after she passed away I had a rough time. I locked myself in my room, quit sport and ate a lot of comfort food."

"I understand that, I'd probably do the same." He agreed.

"My parents sent me away to my uncle, he lives on an island that's part of The Netherlands." I said. "Everyday, I'd go for a run and then watcht the sunrise from the dunes. I followed online classes for a year before going back to England."

"Watching the sunrise every freaking day?!" He looked at me like I was nuts. "Didn't you get tired at all?"

"No, I'd take the class, go for a swim and then watch the sun set. After that I'd jog home, take a shower and then spend some time with my uncle." I shrugged. "It was hard work but in then end, it was all worth it."

"It definitely was!" Mason gave me a perverted look. I chuckled and shoved him. "But why did your ex come all the way down here?"

"When I came back, I decided to catch up with Nicky and she told me Harold had been snooping around." I shurgged. "With my other best friend, Bethany. I told my parents that we broke up and they said that they were thinking about moving."

"Because of a break up?" Mason said astonished.

"No, to get a fresh start." I said. "And they were already thinking about it before I told them we broke up."

"Do you feel better now that you told someone?" Mason questioned.

"I already felt better after riding around on the bike." I grinned.

"Come on, I'll take you home." Mason stood up and offered me his hand. He helped me up and then jumped off the rock.

"You need help?" He asked while looking up at me.

"I appreciate the offer but I can handle myself." I smirked. I jumped off the rock, landing in a crouched position.

"Okay, Spiderwoman. Let's go." Mason chuckled.
