recap:

I frowned, "Kylie it's okay. You will find the right guy for you soon, it takes time."

"Twenty-three years of my life have past already, how much longer will it take?" Kylie sighed, fixing her black and white striped pencil skirt. "But it's okay, I'm not ready to share my bed and food anyways."

The door opened and we all turned our heads. A blonde haired girl named Lea came in with a smile. "Violet, someone delivered flowers for you."

************

"For me?" I asked, pointing to myself. Who would spend their money to buy me some flowers that will eventually die.

Lea nodded, leaving the room. Angel, Kylie, and I walked out and headed towards my desk, where a beautiful bouquet of yellow roses was displayed. Noticing there was a card in the rose, I snatched it before Kylie or Angel could.

'I hope these roses put a smile on your face, you deserve to be happy

-N'

I did smile after reading that letter. But who was N? Nick or Nate?

Suddenly Kylie snatched the envelope from my hands and they read it out loud.

"So this is the surprise that Nate was talking about!" Angela smiled, looking at the card dreamily. "You've got quite a man in your life, Violet."

I grinned when she Angela told me it was Nate. He actually took time out of his day to buy me flowers and send it to my work? For some reason, I was hoping it was Nick. Only because Nate doesn't usually do these type of things. But finding out it was him made me happier.

After talking with Angela and Kylie about this romantic surprise, we went off to do our own work. Currently, I was on my tablet and scheduling appointments/meetings for Diana when she comes back, also answering calls.

While I was writing down important dates on my calendar book, a strong manly hand covered up my eyes. "Guess who?" The familiar voice whispered in my ear.

"Angela?" I joked, giggle afterwards.

"Do I sound like a girl to you?" The person took off his hands from my eyes and stood in front of my desk.

"No, you're very manly don't worry." I smiled at Nate. "I can't believe you're here! What a surprise!" Standing up from my chair, I wrap my arms around Nate's neck.

"Thought I would come and surprise you. We don't really get to see each other anymore because of work." He explained, snaking his arm around my waist and pulling me closer to his body.

Two surprises in one day? Man Angela was right, I was very lucky to have a guy like Nate.

"I love the flowers by the way," I closed my eyes, breathing in his cologne as I massaged the back of his hair with my hands.
