recap:
I glanced at Yasmin Gray, then back to the guy in front of me. My head was finally in the game.
"Nick," I let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding. Suddenly I felt very hot. I was seeing black dots and my whole body felt numb.
"Violet."
And that's when I passed out.
--------------------------------
"She looks dead."
"She's not dead, Kylie!" I heard familiar voices yelling at each other.
"That gown is so ugly."
"Kylie!"
Then I heard a smack and then a hiss in pain, which I assume was Kylie.
Slowly opening my eyes, I jump at how close Kylie's face was to mine. Then she grinned, showing me her pearly white teeth.
"You're alive!" She yelled, hugging me tightly.
"Kylie you're gonna hurt her get off!" Angel smacked Kylie again pulling her off of me. "How are you feeling, Violet?"
"My head kinda hurts." I carefully sat up on the bed. "Ugh, I had the worst dream ever."
Looking around my surroundings, I realized that we were at the hospital. I place my hand on top of my head, rubbing it lightly.
So it wasn't a dream.
"What happened?"
"You passed out when you were at the photoshoot."
I felt embarrassed. I passed out because I saw Nick. I was so afraid in seeing him that I ended up making a big fool of myself in front of him and Yasmin Gray.
I wonder what he was thinking when he saw me?
Did he feel happy? Did he feel sad? Did he want to slap me in the face?
"The doctor said once you wake up we are able to take you home now," Kylie said. She grabbed a bag from the chair and handed it to me. "New clothes."
"Thanks." I put on my clothes slowly, still feeling a little bit tired. Checking my phone, it was nine in the morning, June 13. It's only been a day thank God.
After signing the papers at the hospital, my best friends and I want straight to work. I don't know if that was a good idea considering I just got out of the hospital, but I didn't want to miss work.
Nate had visited me at the hospital, but I was asleep and he was running late for work. So he dropped off some flowers, which I brought with me to place on my desk.
Before I entered the building, Diana texted me to buy her regular coffee at Starbucks
"Guys I gotta go get coffee for Diana," I sighed. They just nodded and headed inside our work building. I quickly walk to Starbucks, bought her coffee, then walked back to work. "Hold the elevator please!"
The guy stops it from closing with his hands and I sighed in relief. His hands were so close to being squashed by the big door. And it would've been all my fault. I shivered thinking about it. I don't want that to ever happen to me, so that's why I always use my foot to stop the door.
"Thank you." I thanked the guy, not looking up a him yet because I had to press the floor number. But it was already lit up.
"How's your head?" A familiar voice questioned. I didn't want to look at him. If I do I know I'm going to end up crying. "Violet." Nick grabbed my arm and twirled me around.
