"Thanks so much again man. I'm only in town for the week."
"Yeah no problem dude, there is something I need to tell you though."
Johnson is interrupted by the sound of the door opening.
"DADDY!" I pull my little girl up into my arms, spinning her around.
"Hey baby girl." I turn to see Karla giving Johnson a heated glare. I chuckle and put Kayla down.
"Relax K. I'm guessing this is what you were about to tell me Johnson?" He nods and laughs nervously.
"I'm sorry Karla I totally forgot I was having Jack over."
She sighs. "It's fine JJ. It's kinda late so I'll go put Kayla to bed." She takes Kayla and heads upstairs.
Karla still hasn't come downstairs so she must have fallen asleep with Kayla.
"Look dude." JJ gets my attention.
"What's up?"
"You know she has a boyfriend right? Nash. They're happy, so don't do anything to mess this up for her." He gets up and walks upstairs to his room.
We'll see if she has a boyfriend by the end of my stay.
