*past / dream world *

Tumbling down the stairs of the Dark One’s castle, I cry out in great pain. When I reach the bottom, Papa looks at me disapprovingly and grabs my arm to help me up.

"Bae would have never done that," papa said distastefully. It made me want to cry.

Papa was always comparing me to Bae, and it annoyed me so much. I am my own person. Why couldn't he love me for being me?

"Belle read a book to her or whatever you do in your spare time. Just get her out my sight."

I don’t see the brunette woman who papa had called Belle, nor did I care what she looked like. I just grabbed my necklace that had fallen off from my tumble and poof away to Mama.

"Mama!" I scream as I run down the twisting twirling thick corridors to Mama's chambers. She's not there, so I sit on her large queen-sized bed and let my tears fall wildly down my face.

Suddenly, I feel a pair of warm arms wrap around me. In a few moments, I know it’s her. We sit like this for hours, contently spending time together.

Golden smoke fills the room. I know its Papa, so I grip Mama tightly. Papa tries to rip me away from Mama, but I grip on Mama tighter, which mama returns. Anger rises in Papa's eyes. Shaking in fear, I bury my face into mama's chest.

"I believe today is my day, with Bonnie so if you'd kindly let go of her, Dearie," Papa said in his deal-making voice. Mama just shook her head no and held me tight.

Papa waved his hand and mama's hand rushed to her cheek. Papa had used magic to hurt Mama, but she came back just as strong, using her magic to knock the air out of Papa's lungs. They fought over me for hours until papa took the lead.
Reaching in, Papa took Mama's heart and was about to crush it.

"NO, PAPA, PLEASE!" "PAPA, I'LL BE GOOD!" "PAPA, PLEASE, NO!" "NO, PAPA!" My screams echo through the palace. He hesitantly places Mama's heart back and grabs my arm before poofing us into the secret room in the dark castle.

"You will stay in here until you have learned your lesson, young lady" he sternly said, looking the door.

"PAPA, PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME IN HERE! PLEASE, PAPA! PAPA. PAPA, LET ME OUT!" I scream, hoping he will come back and let me out.
