We soon arrive, and when we do, Papa is waiting for us. Mama tenses at the sight of him. Emma wraps her arms around Mama, and I know now that they are true love and deserve to spend the rest of their lives together.
"I just want to talk to Bonnie" Papa said, looking guilty.
"The last time you took her ‘just to talk’ you froze her in time and told me she had caught a fever and passed away before you could get to me," Mama defended.
"I know but this time I really do just want to talk," Papa replies, still looking down at the ground.
"Fine, but I'm staying," Mama said fiercely protective of me. Papa nodded.
"I'm sorry Bonn. I know I messed up. I always expected you to be just like Bae, and I froze you in time. I locked you in the secret room, even though you were scared. I should have loved you for just being you, but I shadowed you with Bae. I know you could never forget, but I'm asking- no begging you- to forgive me for all I have done to hurt you," Papa declares guiltily.
Smiling, I hug papa and I whisper into his ear," I forgive you because you're my papa and I love you."
