Yixing found a small neko freezing outside his house, he decided to take him in and hopefully warm him up.

Yixing's Pov:

I looked outside at the harsh raining that struck my house, my house shook a little bit and to be honest I was a little scared. It thundered loudly and shook the ground underneath me.

"I guess I'll at least try to go to bed..." I sighed before heading off to my bedroom.

-Next Morning-

I woke up to no rain and a dark sky. Sitting up and stretching, I then walked into the kitchen and looked out the window. People on the streets were wearing thick coats. Must be cold.

"Let's hurry up and get the mail then..." I told myself while grabbing my shoes and coat. Once dressed for a 10 second trip I headed out the door.
Right as I stepped foot on the last step I stopped and looked to my left. I was quite suprised to see a boy..with cat ears and a cat tail..just snuggled up to my trash can. He was crying softly and trembling from head to toe. He had only a white, dirty sweater on with some small shorts, he was soaking wet and was pale all over. It was a terrible sight to see, my heart clenched towards him.

"Hey...do you need help?" I questioned the boy while crouching down to his level. His head snapped up and he seemed to back away in fear.

"Hey hey, I'm not going to hurt you. I'm not going to hurt you.." I quickly repeated with my hands up to calm the poor thing.

"Please... don't hurt me.." He begged with a whisper. I quickly shook my head.

"I'm not going to hurt you, trust me. Just let me help you. You're soaking wet and must be freezing cold..."

-Time Skip-

After about 30 minutes of trying to convince the poor boy to come into my house, I finally got him in with two towels wrapped around his small frame. He sat in the middle of my floor just hugging his knees.

"Here you go..." I said while giving him a cup of hot chocolate. He slowly took it from me with trembling hands.

"Don't be scared, I won't hurt you. I only want to help you, would you like me to run you a bath?" I questioned.

"No! You don't have to do all of that just for me! I'd just be wasting you're water!" He quickly yelled back while panicking. I got down to his level and tried to calm him down.

"Listen, it will not be a waste. You can get warmer and clean, I don't care how much water you use or what soap you use or anything. You just can't stay outside like that and I don't want you going back out there."

He just looked at with a confused and questionable face, his ears down and tail curled around him. I only just not realized that he had a few bruises here and there.

"Look, it would be better if you stayed here with me than go back out there...do you want to stay here?"

He nodded slowly and looked down at the hot chocolate.

"Yes I want to but...aren't I a bother to you? Why aren't you freaking out and hitting me like the other people?"

I knew exactly what he is talking out, it was his strange cat-like features.

"Because I don't care how you look or what you are, it's terrible out there and you are pretty young."

"But-"

"No more buts, are you going to stay here or not?" I cut him off with a smile to make him feel a bit better.

"I guess so but I need to know you better..." He replied while taking a sip of the warm drink. I nodded and stood up before walking into my bedroom.
