You've been looking for Niklaus for centuries. You found out that he used to live in Mystic Falls but a guy named Damon tried killing you. Since you were older you easily beat him. This other guys named Stefan told you that he moved to New Orleans so you got in your car and drove off. You looked all night for him until a witch, named Claire, told you where his house was. The next morning you saw him leave so you followed him. After an hour or two you ended up at a bar.... Typical. You stood near a corner with a drink in your hand. You saw that Niklaus started walking towards you so you turned around. "Excuse me love, but do I know you?" Niklaus asked. You turned around to face him "come one now Niklaus, do I really look different?" You asked him. His facial expression changed, like he was remembering everything all over again. "Y/N" was all he said. "Aha, so you do remember" you said and took a sip of your drink. "H-how is this possible?" Niklaus asked. "Well you see, I found out that you were a vampire so I had Elijah helped me to get a witch to turn me" you say and walk away. Niklaus followed. "Now, my turn to ask you a question" you said while sitting down. "Why did you kill me? Did you not love me?" You asked trying to sound sad. "I did love you" Niklaus said quietly. "The reason I killed you was so that no one can threaten you. I did it to save you" he added. "No, you did it to save yourself. I heard you, right before you killed me" you say and walk out the bar.
~•*Flashback*•~
"Y/N. I have to talk to you" Niklaus said and led you to the couch.
"Okay" you said slowly and sat down. "We can't be together. You can't love me anymore" Niklaus said not wanting to look you in the eyes. "No! I won't leave you" you say as tears start coming out. "You should! I-I'm sorry" Niklaus says sadly. "Well I'm not! I'm not sorry that I'm in love with you" you said as you started to cry. "You have to leave, please. Turn around and never look for me" Niklaus says as tears stain his cheeks. "No! I'd rather die than leave you!" You yell. "Fine" Niklaus says looking at you. He makes his way over to you and goes behind you. He covers your mouth and whispers "I'm sorry Y/N. I love you. But i can't let you make me weak." He kisses your head and snaps your neck. Hours passed when you woke up. You looked around and saw that you were in a bed. You looked to your right and saw Elijah sitting on a chair reading a book. He looked at you and gets something off the desk. "Here, you'll need it if you want to complete the transition" he said and handed you a cup of blood. You looked at it debating if yuh should take it or not. You only wanted to become a vampire so you could be with Niklaus, but after he was the one who killed you because you made him weak, you weren't so sure anymore. You say up and grabbed the cup. You said "Here goes nothing" and drank it. "See you soon" Elijah said and left.
