Many womanly screams filled the car as it flew down the interstate to a local hospital in the large town nearby. "Hold on baby, almost there." A man spoke as he drove, his wife was in labor and he was afraid he wouldn't make it to the hospital in time. It was three in the morning and it was storming hard; large raindrops hit the windshield as he drove and thunder cracked their ears as lightning flashed all around. The rain was thick and the man could barely see. "Jack, I-I can't hold it! T-The baby's c-coming!" The woman called in pain as she began to hyperventilate.

"Just a little longer, I can see the--" Jack was cut off as he spoke because the car began to swerve until they hit an oncoming car which made the car Jack was driving flip over and keep flipping three more times. He was knocked unconscious until he woke up shortly after on the pavement, his whole body ridden with unbearable pain. He tried to move but it only made things worse. "Oh god... Morgan!? MORGAN!?!" He called out, tears streaming down his cheeks mixed with rain-water as he couldn't hear a response.

"What a shame... a wife in labor with a soon-to-be-son and then on the night she gives birth she and her husband both die moments before. What a tragedy.." He heard a low and gravely voice from behind him and then footsteps slowly walking around him to get into his field of view. The man was wearing a black suit and a crooked smile plastered on it face. "Ah... poor Jackson, what would you or anyone do in a situation like this? Beg and plead for god to help? How about the next best thing, eh? How about making a deal with the devil?" The man said with a hint of a hiss to his voice.

"W-What are you talking about?!" Jack replied with tears in his eyes. The man bent down in front of Jack and clicked his tongue, "Tch tch tch, ah Jackson, I've watched you for your whole life, your not a bad man! You've always done everything right, always by the book, so why should the two most important things in your life be snatched away from you so easily?" He said and Jackson began to get filled with anger and tried to stand, ignoring all the pain in his body.

"Make a deal with me, all of this would have never happened! What do you say?" The man said gleefully as he stood up with Jackson and Jackson thought for a moment. "What kind of deal?" He asked and the man grinned. "A deal in which your wife and son never die, well, not like this. There is nothing about this that will be bad for you, trust me." The man said and then Jackson groaned, "Fine! I'll make a deal with you!" He said, almost yelling in rage. "I just want my wife and son back!" He said and the man held his grin. "Alright, it shall be done. Oh, there is one thing though.. your son will not be human. He will be a Geist. Good-Bye!"

Jackson's eyes widened as the man began to disappear in a red smoke, "Wait, what!? A-A GEIST!? WHAT THE FU--" Jackson felt weak and he passed out but woke up to a baby crying. "It's a boy." He heard and he opened his eyes to see he was in a white hospital room and his wife laying on an operating table and a small child held in her arms.

"Wha-What the...?" Jackson stood up from the chair he was sitting in and it caught the attention of the woman, her name Morgan. "Ah, Jack, your awake. Come here, meet our new son." She said in a weak but calm and sweet voice, Jackson walking over to see the small child. He had dark purple eyes and as he put his finger near the child's face, he smiled and grabbed onto Jackson's finger with a smile. "I was thinking of a name for him while you were sleeping. How about Adrien?" She asked Jackson and he smiled with a nod. "Yeah, I like that." He said and looked at the child, "Adrien seems fitting."
