Fear. That's what I felt every time I went over his house. I didn't want to go over but he was like family to my parents.
"Hey Jasmine!" He came running towards me with wide arms. He wrapped his arms around me. I felt so disgusted that he acted to innocent. I pushed him away as hard as I could. He brought his mouth to my ear.
"Don't do that or else." I immediately stiffened at his words. I wanted to throw up. He walked over to my parents and hugged them. I wish I could tell my parents what he was doing but I couldn't. He said he'll kill me if I ever told anyone.
Time flew by and it was time to go to bed. I didn't want to sleep alone. I walked up to my mom.
"Hey mom, can I sleep wherever you're gonna sleep at?" I prayed she would say yes.
"Jasmine you're almost sixteen. You still can't be afraid of 'monsters'. Go to one of the empty rooms."
"Please mom." I sounded desperate. She kissed my forehead and walked off to the room she was going to sleep in.
I turned on my heel and walked to a room at the end of the hall. I made sure to look behind me before getting in and locking it. I went to the bed and got in. I turned off the lamp on the nightstand.
