There once was a boy who liked autumn. He spent most of his time observing the brown and yellow  leaves as they  fell from the once worn trees.

There once was a girl who stood next to a tree, thinking all day and all night, she didn't leave. The boy talked to her and she said she was an autumn child. Like the autumn trees she was losing her leaves and so the boy tried to help her.He held her thin branches so they wouldn't fall, he kissed her roots so she wouldn't collapse.

When she was sad he made her happy with simple things. He passed afternoons gluing leaves back onto the tree where she passed her days and gave her a little hope. Deep in her heart she knew she would lose her leaves eventually but the boy made her feel special so she kept on trying.

There once was a day when she made a choice. She herself became part of that autumn tree saving the boy from the sadness he one day would discover. In the roots of the tree you could see the form of the girl who had now became her favourite her favourite view, the autumn, hoping that she would become someone's view

The boy had a gentle soul and he forgave her, but he didn't move on... he became the cold winter who was a barrier to everyone. But deep in his frozen heart he could still feel a gentle heartbeat.
