" come on cam lets go " I heard Nash yelling at me about the party.

" hold on I'm doing the finishing touches to myself " I told him as I continued to brush my hair back and make sure I was looking cute.

" I've never seen a 17 year old so focused on their appearance... and that's coming from a guy who lived with a 17 year old girl who had her friends over all the time before " he said.

" okay I'm done Nash " I replied back and grabbed my phone and keys and we both started to head down the stairs until we reached my front door.

" bye mom I love you have a good day. I'll be back around 2 " I told my mom as I walked out the house.

" let's go ! " Nash said excited to arrive at the party.

After a 12 minute drive we arrived at Lia's house and went to the backyard where Jack told us he was going to be and joined in on the group he was with.
They were all drinking and I decided just to get some coke because I don't want to drive alcohol- also the taste of beer disgusts me.

I was listening on the conversation until I felt a pair of eyes on me and looked up from my cup and saw this guy I've never seen before. He was cute. Really cute. Okay super cute. I decided to act cool and take a sip from my cup and grin at him. After that I just continued on in the conversation.

Soon the guy started to walk over to the group and I thought he was coming to me and prepared myself mentally to speak to him... but instead Nash and him went in for a bro hug and began to talk. So I being the guy I am I walked over to them and put my arm around Nash's shoulder.

" who's your friend Nash " I asked and nodded my head towards the guy.

" Cameron this is Shawn. Shawn this is Cameron " Nash said making hand signs pointing to who was who.

" hey Shawn cool to meet you " I said giving him the bro handshake.

" yeah you too " he said.

" hey so I'm glad you guys met because I'm going to leave you two alone while I go get myself another drink " Nash said while making some silly dance on his way to the keg.

" he's a dork " both of said laughing.

" dude that was weird as fuck " Shawn said laughing and I smiled.

" so Cameron tell me about yourself " he said.

" well my name is Cameron Alexander Dallas. I'm 17. I'm white and Mexican. I think I'm kinda funny. I'm pretty chill. I'm gay. And I live with my mom and sister and dogs " I said, smiling.

When I'm around him it's weird but I can't take the smile off my face.

" Alexander. I like it " He said while laughing.

" okay you tell me about yourself now " I said- still smiling.

" Mendes. Shawn peter Raul Mendes to be exact. I like to sing and play guitar. I dabble in the keyboard. I have my pet cats. Only child and well me and my parents don't have the best relationship you can say. And dude it's cool your gay because I am too haha. I'm 16. Full Canadian here haha. Well I have Portuguese in the blood and other European genes. I also talk a lot when I'm nervous and I don't really know what else to say because I'm kinda shy and well you see- " he said until I cut him off
" I think it's cute you talk a lot " I said earning a blush from him.

Nash came back to us and grabbed us both.

" where are we going " Shawn said.

" we're playing spin the bottle, my friends " he said.

Oh boy is this gonna be a night. Nash had dragged us to where the fire pit was at except there was lights around the entire floor and a blanket and a group of 16 or so teenagers on the floor as well all in a circle. Us 3 sat down and waited while Selena a friend of mine went through the rules for those who didn't know and the game began.

It was funny at first with Nash getting his ex, The jacks had eachother, Taylor got Ariana, Selena landed on herself which was funny so she did it again and it landed on David and so on.

Then the bottle never landed on me so I got a turn so I wouldn't be left out of the fun. I then spun the bottle and it landed on

Shawn.

Fuck- why am I so nervous for this. I'm never nervous to kiss someone. Fuck it he was already infront of my face so I began to lean in and my lips lightly grazed his-

" COPS HIDE THE WEED YOU LITTLE BASTARDS IM NOT TRYING TO GO TO JAIL BECAUSE OD YOU RATS " Lia screamed.

I got up quickly and ran towards the front yard getting away from the 8 cop cars infront trying to get as many teens to call their parents. I then realized Shawn wasn't with me anymore and what was just about to occur.

Suddenly I felt a tap on my shoulder and as I turned around I saw it was no other than, Shawn.

" that was crazy and thanks for leaving me " he said.

" I'm sorry I just didn't want to call my mom even though I didn't do anything bad " I said.

" but you did " he said.

I looked at him with a titled head and a confused face.

" you owe me something " he said.

" what " I was still confused.

" this- " he said as he leaned him and we kissed- not for a little time but a longtime.

" I gotta go now but ask Nash for my number dude see ya later " he said walking away.

His lips tasted of cherries.
