Chapter Three: What's The Plan?

Neo sighed a bit, shaking her head. She wanted to go and capture Ruby already, but she knew there were a lot of obstacles in her way. Ruby's teammates could prove a worthy challenge, since her sister was in the same team as her.

Neo walked down the dorm hallways, thinking of a way to capture Ruby without anyone knowing. Suddenly it hit her. They would never suspect a close, even best, friend, would they? It was perfect. All she had to do was make friends with Ruby and then torture all the information she knew about her out of her. Thanks to a little friend, Neo knew Ruby was close to Ozpin, and that Ozpin had seen some great potential in Ruby.

Neo smirked as she walked towards the cafeteria, her plan couldn't be more perfect. She just had to get to know every one of Ruby's friends, and get along with them too. But first, there was Ruby.

"Daisy!!!" Ruby giggled as she slapped Neo on the back. "Hey!!! It's been a while!!!"

Neo waved slightly, nodding a bit as she smiled, thanking herself for keeping the image on.

"Are you gonna get breakfast? Mind if I tag along? My team went out without me! Can you believe it? Without their own leader!"

Neo slowly nodded, taking a mental note. Leader. Good. She smiled and gestured towards the cafeteria doors.

Ruby nodded and they both stepped inside, grabbing their breakfast and sitting at a table.

"Sooooo...what can ya tell me about yourself? I mean...other than you're extremely shy and stuff! I get it, it's hard being at a new school and such! I felt that way too!"

Neo nodded and shrugged a bit, shaking her head. Trying to say that there wasn't anything of interest with her.

"Really? Well, one day I'll get to know ya! As for me...well, you can guess!" She giggled childishly. "I'm fifteen, at a school that's two years in front of me, and I'm a leader of a team! Life's pretty great!" Ruby smiled widely, that smile that showed hope for everything.

Neo nodded, grinning on the inside. She would soon break that smile, and break that hope. Soon the Rose will wilt, she told herself. And on that day, she would have one more toy to play with...it was only a matter of time...
