Nice of Y'all to Drop In— I DIDN'T MEAN LITERALLY!
Destiny's POV
It's already been six days since summer started, and I just got home from a road trip to Penticton with some friends of mine. Everything was already unpacked from a my luggage and stowed away, which I had to do myself because the rest of my family went on their own vacation. Tomorrow I'll be attending my first day at Stagecrest Theatre to be apart of an incredible musical production.I changed into my pajamas, which consisted of white shorts and a black sweatshirt crop top that had the words "Young, scrappy & hungry" embroidered onto it with white thread. I set the alarm on my phone for 7:30am and checked Skype one last time, just in case. I sighed, disappointed but not surprised.
No notifications.
I wish Star and Mid were online more... I really want to meet face to face.
I slid under the covers, the comfort of my bed and the warmness of the sheets lulling me to sleep.
cRASH!
And I'm awake! I silently pulled open a drawer and wielded a pistol that I kept for safety precautions. I made my way through the hall and down the stairs, careful not to make the hardwood squeak under the weight that I applied to it with every step. I snuck around until I spotted two figures in the kitchen through the darkness. I pointed the handgun at them, hovering my finger over the trigger.
"PUT YOUR HANDS UP, I'M ARMED WITH A GUN!" I flicked on the light switch to reveal two shorter teenagers. The first one had long brown hair with dyed blonde tips, semi-tan skin, cocoa coloured eyes and black rimmed glasses with her hands up in surrender. The second, who was staring at the gun being pointed at her with her jaw slacked had brown medium length hair with eyes of a darker shade and fairly light toned skin. I recognized them from somewhere, but I couldn't quite place my finger on it... Because I was using my fingers to hold my weapon obviously.
"Where the fuck am I?!" The highlighted brunette screeched.
"How did I even get here?" The other girl questioned, blatantly confused and a sense of familiarity hit me like a tsunami.
"Wait... Jayda? Maxine? hOLY SHIT IT IS YOU TWO!" I lowered my pistol and shook my head is disbelief. "How did you—?"
"I don't know! One moment I'm playing Overwatch, and the next I appeared in your kitchen. Well, more like fell..."
"Same, except I wasn't gaming."
"Okay this is really strange because both of you basically live across the world from me, but you're here in a split second? I'm—"
cRASH!
A quieter creak followed, causing me to ready my gun again.
"Shhh, it came from the closet." I softly walked over to the sliding door and pulled it open forcefully to see...
Three guys? One had golden bronze skin, bold emerald eyes and thin, fluffy copper hair to match his freckles. The other had dark chocolate hair, toasted brown complexion and inky black eyes. The last one had jet black hair, pale ivory flesh and piercing light blue eyes, making him appear like a vampire in a way.
"You three look... Oddly familiar..." I pointed out, loosening the tight grip on my pistol. They all stepped out of the closet one by one, looking around the place in confusion.
