Pick 53, Carlton football club, Jack Silvagni! The AFL commentator announced from the large flatscreen TV hanging in the Silvagni household.
"Oh my goodness, congratulations Jack!" I practically screamed in Jacks face as I quickly jumped on his lap and hold his wide grinning face between my hands before smashing my lips onto his. " I new you could do it" I exclaimed as I slowly moved myself of his lap to let him celebrate with his family.
"Oh my god... I can't believe this" Jack mumbled before gently grabbing ahold of my cheek and and placing his lips softly on mine while his family began to cheer even louder.
"Thank you for everything baby, for believing in me, I couldn't have done this without you" Jack sobbed looking straight in my eyes before he got smothered into a large bear hug from his mother Jo and the rest of his relatives.

-8 hours later-
"I still can't believe this, it all seems so surreal" Jack muttered slowly while readjusting his grip around my waist while staring sincerely into the slowly dying flames.
"You better believe it babe, it'll all begin before you know it" I cheered happily. Jack and I were the only two left surrounding the slowly dying flames of the once vivid fire the rest of his family surrounded not long before, celebrating Jacks success.
"And soon your dreams will become reality babe, I just know it" Jack said starring me deep in the eyes accompanied with his killer smile. "Thank you Jack, I really do hope so". "They will Ly, I promise, just promise me through all the the hecticity to come, we'll never lose each other, please, I don't know what I would do without you." Jack slowly spills out, his voice falling apart towards the end. " Jack.." I whisper "don't think things like that, I love you, I always have and I always will, I promise you, I'm not going anywhere, as long as you can promise me that too" I say with a chuckle while Jack attaches his lips firmly with mine.
"I promise" he mumbles before reconnecting our lips.

Oh only how much I wish we both lived up to that promise...
