The Doctor lands the Tardis somewhere. He starts heading towards the door. Shalek notices, so he gets up from the chair and starts following. The Doctor notices.

Doctor: Oh no, no, no. You're not going anywhere.

Shalek: What? Why not? UNIT made me your supervisor, remember?

Doctor: I know, and there is no way for them to know if you're doing your job or not. Especially if Hailey isn't here.

Shalek: Right... But I want to come, still.

Doctor: Sit down.

Shalek: Why? Where are we, that you wouldn't let me go?

Doctor: The most dangerous place in the universe. Billions upon billions have died here. The most horrible people to have ever lived were born here, with horrible childhoods due to the thousands of wars that took place here.

Shalek: You over-exagerated your story. You're lying.

The Doctor sighs.

Doctor: We're at a Galactic Market.

Shalek: Oh. OH!!

Doctor: See, this is why I didn't want to tell you. You're going to buy everything again.

Shalek: No, I won't.

Doctor: Oh yeah? Remember the Castelian Market?

Shalek looks away.

Shalek: No....

Doctor: Sure you don't. I'm going to buy a new dematerialization circuit and THAT'S IT. Nothing else. The last time I bought one, I ended up trapping ourselves in a time loop, so I need to be extra careful this time. I can't have you bugging me about buying everything.

Shalek: Fine, fine, I'll stay here.

The Doctor heads out, and as he exits, he accidentally bumps into someone. The person drops some materials.

Doctor: Oh, I'm sorry.

The person puts on a hood and picks up the materials. The Doctor looks at him as he runs away.

Doctor: He seemed familiar.

Meanwhile, Earth, September 3rd 2016, CERN:

Jacob enters the laboratory, and sits down at a computer, near a woman.

Emma: Hey, Jacob.

Jacob: ... Hey.

Emma: You're still grieving?

Jacob: ... Let's get to work, we have to get this working by tomorrow.

Emma: You're in no condition to work right now. Why did you come?

Jacob: Work.

Emma: They let you off work this week.

Jacob: And do what? Stay home, grieve and think and cry? No thanks.

Emma: Be carefull not to mess anything up then.

Jacob: Oh shut up. I'm perfectly capable of working.

Later that day, Jacob was closing all the lights in that one CERN lab. He was heading towards the exit, ready to lock it up, when an explosion is heard. Jacob runs towards the area of the explosion. There was a hole in the ceiling, and a red telephone booth was laying on the ground, near the rubble.

Missy comes out of it, all dizzy.

Missy: Woo. That was fun.

 That was fun
