Chapter 2 (Day in)

Masaomi POV

I slept soundly though the night and so did the baby

I felt myself slowly waking up and then I jolted up when the baby started screaming and crying

I stood up and picked up the baby

"Shhhh, shhhh, calm down, Masa-Nii is right here" I smiled

The baby calmed down and hugged my neck

"Let's go find you some milk from Ukyo ne?" I chuckled

I put the baby down and changed into my daywear but realised

"May told me to take a few days off.... *sigh* I don't need to get dressed up" I laughed

I changed into a t shirt and casual bottoms and picked up the baby again

I walked down the hall and into the dining room where Ukyo was preparing meals for everyone who was already awake

"Hi Ukyo" I smiled

"Masaomi? Sit down" Ukyo sighed like he was rather annoyed

'Is he angry about something?' I thought

"I got some milk and pancakes, after you eat go back to bed" Ukyo shook his head

"What do you mean?" I asked

"Your pale, do you feel okay?" Ukyo asked

"I am? I didn't realise" I frowned

"Do you have a fever?"

I looked over my shoulder and Kaname was stood smirking

"I don't think so" I chuckled

"Let's see" Kaname laughed walking over

Kaname placed the back of his hand to my forehead but quickly pulled back his hand

"Your burning up" Kaname frowned

"I feel fine" I smiled

"Well it may just be a stress cold" Ukyo suggested

I sighed and laid back in my chair

"Dear oh dear what's happening here?" Hikaru smirked walking in
"Masaomi? You don't look well, are you feeling alright?" Hikaru asked sincerely

"I'm fine" I snapped

"He has a fever" Kaname smirked
"And he's pale" Ukyo noted

I don't know why they're worrying so much, it's just small things and it's not like I'm going anywhere today

"Masaomi you look even paler" Hikaru frowned

"Your getting paler by the minute" Ukyo agreed

My head started pounding with the rising fuss they were displaying and my patience was wearing thin

"Are you sure your okay then Masaomi?" Kaname placed a hand on my shoulder

"I'm fine!" I snapped causing the baby girl to burst into tears

"Oh no.." Hikaru gasped slightly

The girl sobbed and tried to push away from me

Hikaru walked over and took the baby to calm her down and I rested my head on my chin leaning on the table

"You should get some rest" Ukyo frowned

"But we need to look after her" I sighed
