3:shonu and the box

"maa,dont take me wrong.I know I'm intruding in your personal matters,but I need to know what has happened exactly.only then I would be able to cure him.so,if you know anything at least a bit about his past ,please tell me.",Sonakshi asked Ishwari because she could not any clue regarding his past.

"sonakshi,I can understand what you are trying to say.but I swear I definitely dont know anything.See,Dev's father died when he was around 12 years.from then only I was his family.I made a lot of efforts to make him study in a good school.Dev being a responsible son ,had never shown his desires out.He was always happy with what he had.at that time we were not here.We were at Mumbai.Dev grew and after completing his studies he managed to establish business on his own.He worked hard day and night to establish it.and he was successful in it.Within a few months his business grew and he became one of the most successful business men.but since he was looking after all his branches and he was setting up a new one here,he had to move in here.He asked me to come along with him.but I refused to come and lived at Mumbai itself.He then moved here,and started living in this house which was bought by him when he was at mumbai.He visited Mumbai whenever he was free but not often.He was very busy here.But whenever he came to Mumbai,he would be staying only for 2 days.he would soon come here.I dont know what was here that he missed being in this home.And then it happened.He met with an accident and lost his memory.I had shown him to many doctors both in India and abroad but no use.He became so childish.But then I decided to shift here,because I felt something was there here that he used to be so Happy.Then we came here.for everyone out there,it will be like he is behaving childish,and he is abnormal.but I'm happy with it.because he is doing all those things which he could not do when he was in his childhood.and then one fine day he saw you,became friend to you which didnt happen with anyone else.so that's why I felt you will surely cure him.will you?",Ishwari said everything that she knew.

"Of course ma.Dev will definitely get cured.I promise.now come on .sleep .its too late .we will talk later.good night."

Saying this,sonakshi went to her room.she tried sleeping but could not.She gets reminded of the box.she thought what would be in that box,that he got hyper.and she need to find it out.She then thought of checking his social media profiles but didn't find any clues.

Sonakshi's POV:

How can he be so private?Any of his profiles are not having anything other than his business related posts.Didnt he have any friends?But maa told that he soon comes here.What's there here?I dont understand .From where to start?OK I'll do one thing.I'll start tomorrow from Dev itself.

The next day,Ishwari was feeding breakfast to Dev.Then sonakshi arrives.

"shonu.sit sit.eat soon.Then we will go out to play.",Dev said.

"OK.we will play.but you have to say me one thing.only then I would come. OK."

"hmm.ok.ask me but then you should come."

"ok.tell me what was there in that box?",Sonakshi asked.

"why?why should I tell you?I had told you already I will not tell anything about it."

"but now only you said that you will tell me right.so are we not friends?friends don't lie to each other.They share every secret.if you really feel I'm your friend then tell me.otherwise no problem.I'll feel that we are not friend",Sonakshi said almost in a sad tone so that Dev would tell her the truth.

"no no its not like that.yeah there is something in that box which I want to give to Someone.I cannot lose it.and you took it without my permission.thats why I got angry on you",Dev finally revealed why was he not giving it to anyone.

"whom you have to give that ?"

"I cannot tell that?",Dev said.

"dev if you tell me then I can help you.",Sonakshi asked again.

"no no ..no one can help me.just go from here.or or....I'll ...I'll break this chair."

"ok ok.relax I'll not ask about it relax.you eat .I'll come later."

Sonakshi's POV:

So,more than the box,its important to find who that person is?If I know who is it,I can get some clues about him.or it can even help in curing him.I need to find it.

Then she thinks about what happened few minutes back.She could not hold back her tears.She could not tolerate dev fighting with her.why ?why is she getting affected by him?He is just her friend.but whenever he fights why could not she bear it?why?he is only her patient?not more that that?just then ishwari arrives.

"sonakshi,I'm sorry .its all because of me.dev should not have fought with you.",Ishwari apologized.

"no maa.that's ok.this is a good sign.he is slowly opening up.I'm sure one or the other day,he will be fine .I have started taking steps to know what happened here.I'll find it anyhow.dont worry."

"ok beta.I have some work.I'll be out till evening.dev is sleeping in his room.please take care of him."

Ishwari informed Sonakshi and went out.

Sonakshi then goes to dev's room.she searches for the box but it was not there.then she tried finding any other clue related to it.but could not find any.

Just then dev starts mumbling in his sleep.

"shonu I'm sorry."

Sonakshi thought he is apologizing to her and calmed him.

"dev,its ok"

"shonu,I should not have done that.I'm sorry."

"dev is worried because he scolded me.wow.he is so sweet"

"shonu.you know, she always asks me what's there in that box.how can I say that?I have to give it to you.I kept her name as shonu because she looks like you and I feel as if I'm talking to you.but when she asked today about it I got so angry on her.I know I'm a bad boy.I should have not done that.I'm sorry.tomorrow I'll ask sorry to her also"

"now I'm sure.there was someone who was a friend to him.I need to find that person.I'm sure that person will surely help.me.but who is shonu?is it really a friend or more than that?he kept my name shonu because I look like that person.now more than dev its important for me to find who is shonu.yes"
