My Little Sister Is Trapped {Book 3}

Alexa sat on the beanbag, studying the tiny portal that she had formed trying to communicate with her brothers.

The human world was calling her, and she wanted to answer. She stared intently at the purple orb gently bobbing around.

She was so focused that she didn't notice when her best friend Paige came in.

"I asked my dad about that." She says staring at the orb also. "Why? What would he know?" Alexa asked rather sassily.

"He visits mom every night." She says as Alexa's hand reached out for the orb, her fingertips making it to the other side.

"How?" Alexa asks. "Maaagic" Paige sings moving her hands around to create some green sparkles.

Alexa sighs. "I miss them." Paige looks at her. "I bet you do. The way you talk about them," she trails off.

"They sound amazing." Alexa looks over at her friend. "They are." Alexa smiles before turning her attention to the orb again.

"I need to get back to them." She says pulling her hand out of the abyss and staring at her fingertips.

Sparks danced on her hands as she moved them around, making pink sparkles then swiping again, making them disapeer.

"You will someday." Paige promised staring at her bestie in awe. "You will." She muttered.

Alexa looked at her friend, who's eyes sparkled, still full of hope despite the place they were trapped in.

"I wanna go back, now." Alexa whispers, trying not to sound too demanding.

Paige smiled and ran off. Then came back in with a huge book. "This is my-" Paige starts before she's cut off by her brother.

"dad's spell book." He says walking closer to the younger teens. "What do you want Logan?" Paige groans.

"To come with you." He says as she smirks at the purple orb. "No way!" Paige yells. "Then I'll be taking this" he starts as he grabs the book. "Back to dad"

Logan starts to saunter away. "Wait." Alexa called out, earning a glare from Paige and a smirk from Logan as he turns around.

"I'm desperate, ok?" Alexa whispers to Paige who sighs and nods. "You're coming with us." Paige says. "You're so considerate Paige." Logan smiles as he hands his sister the book.

Paige opens it and quietly recites Russian before she puts her hand on through the portal then nods to the other to do the same.

Logan does the same then looks to Alexa, who's hesitantly playing with her fingers.

She sighs before looking at the book and closing her eyes, saying the same thing then placing her hand inside the orb.

Darkness surrounds them as the three huddle together because of the sudden cold.

And before they know it, they're outside of Grayson and Olivia's house,
looking around to make sure they're at the right place.
