Third Person POV

Jungkook decided to skip school altogether that day. There was no point. He had already missed half of the lessons anyway. Also, he had better things to be doing - choosing a list of people's names to go down in the book.

The book gave him great power. He could choose who dies that day, not even the leader of countries could do that without trials and reports.

A small fragment of his mind told him to go against it, that he'd probably be caught one day - maybe a drunk friend sticking their nose into his private belongings may find it. He had to be careful. However as he wasn't actually committing the murder, he dismissed the thought with a false sense of security.

He wrote the names of two famous murderers, both locked up in prison but Jungkook felt they needed a worse punishment. A punishment of death.

Park Junseo
Jung Choi

Picturing their faces were an easy feat. There were riots begging for justice just a few months ago by the victims family, condemning the two to death. However the court ignored them, sentencing them both twenty years in jail. Therefore, there had been pictures of them on TV, scattered around streets and on lampposts.

Junseo had cropped, brown hair and mischievous eyes. He looked like a typical criminal - a scar ran through his right eyebrow and he had several other scars decorating his otherwise flawless face. Choi, however, was a professional-looking man. Probably in his late 20s. You'd expect him to be the son of a CEO, yet that wasn't the case.

Jungkook felt the same empty feeling in the bottom of his stomach but this time with a smile. He knew the book and it's powers would work it's magic in a matter of hours and by tomorrow, the several families who deserved justice would get it.

Jungkook woke up with a start the next day. His hair was flat on his head, stuck to his forehead with sweat. He'd had an  awful dream. A monster-like creature was sat at the end of a long hallway. It's teeth were long and sharp like a shark's. It bore it's teeth at him in a somewhat. . . Smile? Yet it was sly, cunning and lopsided - a mockery. The monster, creature - whatever it was - had blood red gums and thin, dark lips. Skin was as light as snow, which contrasted with his big, black, red and yellow eyes. His eyes had no whites, it was just a shiny, button-like thing. He had a very pointy yet thin and small nose, quite like his chin which stuck out in an awkward way.

Everything around Jungkook was blacks the only light was above the creature, like a spotlight which gave it's eyes a haunting shadow.

The monster was sat behind a desk, "Ah, so you've found the book. It made a good choice on who it wanted to belong to I guess, seeing as you already ended the life of someone,"

Leaning back on it's chair, the creature tapped the book in front of him, an exact copy of the on belonging to Jungkook, "use it wisely,"

And with that, Jungkook had woken up with bead of sweat rolling down his face. The voice had seemed familiar, yet he couldn't quite recall where he's heard it from. He decided not to skip school today, he had to talk to someone, Jimin maybe, but could he trust anyone with such a huge secret?

Switching the TV on, he sat down with a plate with two buttered toasts and a fried egg on. He put on channel 58, the news channel and just as he had expected, the camera was shooting the outside of Seoul's largest prison where both Junseo and Choi were kept. However, only Junseo was dead. Jungkook breathed out - both in shock and disappointment. Why had only one died? Was he really hoping to go forward like this? Could he even do this any longer, take the lives of people?
