What caused it could be mundane and not a problem to them but can be life ruining for you.

Once you're under it's ongoing torture, It never ends.

It eats at you like a sick, long forgotten, eldritch virus, from the deep depths of time.

It matters to you the most because you don't want to feel this way anymore and it's all you focus on.

Desperately you wish that you could be like them in the fact that you could be over it by now and moved on from it, but you can't.

It'll never happen, you feel, Sadness is the base of (all) emotion(s).
