As soon as the plane pulls into the airport, other passengers jump up and grab their belongings in hopes of being the first off. I on the other hand, decide to wait a little while to ignore the craziness. So, I pull out my phone and text Daniel.

Madi: Hey the plane just landed. I'll be one of the last people off the plane are you here?

Daniel: Of course I am! I'm waiting for you at baggage claim.

I smile and stick my phone in my backpack. Eventually the plane clears up a bit and all that's left is me and probably a dozen others. So I stand up and grab my carry on from the overhead. Tossing my backpack onto my shoulders I make my way down the aisle. This was my first time on a plane alone, and believe me it took a lot of me begging my mom. My 18th birthday was a week ago and Daniel's gift was a room in his bands house in LA. My parents barely let me come but they know how close Daniel and I are. Daniel is my dad's brother's kid. We grew up together. I always knew he was going to be famous one day, never thought it'd be at 18 though. As I step out into the airport I look up at the signs to find out where baggage claim is.

After some time I find it and look around, where's Daniel? "Madi!"

I turn around to see Daniel running towards me. "Daniel!!" I drop my stuff on the ground as he picks me up and spins me around. "I've missed you so much!"

He sets me down and picks up my stuff. "How was the flight?!"

We walk to the conveyor belt and wait for my luggage. "Not too bad. Where's the band?"

"Asleep" he chuckles. "It's 10 a.m. on our day off. They'll probably be awake when we get to the house."

"I get it they don't want to meet me." I say jokingly. He looks away and rubs the back of his neck. Knowing something's up, I raise an eyebrow "what is it?"

"They don't know you're coming today." He pauses, "or at all." He adds lowly.

"Oh, that's cool," well what comes out of my mouth doesn't match what's in my head. I spot one of my bags and grab it. The second one comes out not too long after. Daniel passes me my carry on as he takes the two larger suitcases. He leads me out to pick up where a black SUV is waiting. "How far away is the house?"

The driver takes my bags, putting them in the back as we climb in. Daniel shrugs "45 minutes?"

I lay my head on his shoulder, "long enough for a good nap." He lays his head on mine and we fall asleep before the driver even gets in the car.

What seemed like seconds later, the driver wakes us up. "We're here sir." The dashboard says 11:02 a.m.

Daniel stretches "thanks Frank." We all climb out and get my stuff from the back. As were heading towards the house, Daniel nervously speeds up. "Corbyn's girlfriend helped me with your room. Please tell me if you don't like it."

I roll my eyes "I'm sure it's fine." He nods and leads me into the house which is oddly quiet. "I guess they're still asleep?"

He looks around with a confused look on his face. "I guess so?" We take my stuff upstairs and to the second door on the left, the first one is his room. He opens the door and I follow him in. "So? How'd we do?"

 "So? How'd we do?"
