Tyler's POV

We ran for what seemed like forever, not coming across anything. It eventually started to rain, so we had to sleep in a small, squishy tent (wink wink ;D) that I brought. It was uncomfortable but it was all we had.

I cuddled up in my blankets, lending Ethan some. He sat up with a small, blank book and a pencil. He had a little lantern next to him, keeping the paper lit up. He was sketching some things, and I secretly watched while acting like I was asleep. He finally closed the book and turned off the lantern. He laid his head on his pillow and we both fell asleep.

LE TIME SKIP BROUGHT TO YOU BY ALL THE READS THIS GOT IN NO TIME LIKE OMG WOW XD THANKS

My eyes fluttered open. I sat up and looked around, seeing Ethan wasn't in the tent. I felt something cold and metal touch the back of my head. "Don't. Move. One. Inch. King Mark will be pleased with this." My eyes widened. Mark's general was about to either kill me or kidnap me and bring me to Mark for him to do the deed.

I sat there for a long moment, planning out what I was going to do. "Now, yesterday His Highness made it clear that he wanted to kill you. So, I'm taking you back to the castle. We have your little friends. Resist, and he dies."

I nodded slowly, looking down. I then jumped up and grabbed his sword. It cut into my hand, but it got it away from my head. I took it and swung it at the general, cutting into his chest. He fell to the floor in pain, as I ran out and glanced around for Ethan.

He was tied up against a tree with a man with an axe, ready to behead him. The man swung the weapon backwards, then lunging it at Ethan's neck. I ran up and kicked it out of the man's hands, causing it to fall and miss Ethan's neck by less than an inch.

I kicked the man down, making him fall head first on the axe's blade. I cut the ropes on Ethan, running, grabbing his bow and quiver, and throwing them to him. Three men ran up to me and I killed them with one swipe of my mighty sword. Ethan shot the last two behind me.

I walked up to the general, who was whimpering in pain and agony. I grabbed his collar and pulled him close to me. "Get off my turf. Tell your idiot king that I'm not going down without a fight. Do I make myself clear?" I said sternly. He nodded, panicking. I let go and he stumbled away from us.

I winced at the pain in my hands from grabbing his blade. "Here, come here. I can help with that. I think you might like this." I looked at him, jokingly confused. He giggled and gestured for me to come and sit next to him.

I obeyed, and he sat with his eyes closed for a moment. Suddenly, a pair of sky blue wings appeared on his back. "Woah! You're a fairy?!?!" "Yeah! I like to keep it a secret, but I trust you." "That's amazing!" He giggled at my excitement. "Told ya!"

"Now, hold your hands out." I did so, as he wrapped his wings around the wounds. He folded his hands in a prayer-like formation, then bringing them from his forehead to his chest. "Anddddd healed." I looked down and saw no wounds or anything on my hands. They were plain clean. "Wow!" Was all I could say.
