Dark's POV

I shook off what Craze had just said to me. I had no time to think about that, I had to get to the shelter I saw. I flew through the almost-raining skies, using all my strength to get to land as quickly as possible. I could hear the roaring of the 'infection' behind me.

Anti was crying out. I started sobbing, trying to help him. He was losing his mind, I was losing him. "Please, Anti, stay with me..." I begged, still going with the same speed.

Once I finally reached land, I rushed right to the shelter. I charged in, putting Anti down in a corner then running back and closing the doors. There were some counters with a few weapons and tools, just in case.

I heard the infection hit the land we were on. He ground shook. I heard things falling and shattering, inside and outside. I was praying that Tyler and Ethan be okay throughout all of this. I heard a scream, as I turned my head and saw Anti screaming out in pain. The cracks were bad, and at their worst.

I had a decision. The most terrible decision of my entire life. Either keep Anti in this life, but let him live in pain and agony. Or, end his life and his suffering. I thought about it for a while, as the lights went out and everything became dark and scary. It was loud and quiet all at the same time.

I chose the second choice. He didn't deserve this. Not at all. But this had to be done. I crawled down next to him, sitting against the counter. I hugged him, holding him close into a warm embrace. "Come here, shhh, it's alright." I whispered to him. He hugged back a little, crying into my shoulder. "Everything's going to be okay." I said. My arm reached up and searched the counter. It finally wrapped around the handle of a large, sharp knife.

Anti looked up at me, and I looked down at him. I leaned down slowly and kissed him gently, before digging the knife right into his chest, right where his heart rested. I saw his emotionless face right before closing my eyes. The black tears fell down to the cold floor. I held his head and laid him down. I opened my eyes to see his eyes shut, and his mouth slightly opened. Green blood poured out of his skin.

I leaned down and slowly kissed his forehead, feeling cracks form on my pale skin. I stood up, my whole body numb. I stumbled outside, seeing everything black and grey. I slowly trotted out, finding the same cliff we flew from. I looked down at the deep, quiet abyss. I took a pie of scissors I took, cutting off my wings. I looked back down at the drop.

I closed my eyes as my feet left the ground. I think you know what happened next.
