"Her name?"

    "Siren.Siren Velzaqui."

    "Parents?"

    There was silence.

    "Family members?"

    "I'll call."

There was some tapping noises that faded away. Then there was just the beeping sound of the machines that checked her health.

She was unconscious, but breathing, wires all around her and poking her skin. Her straight, brown hair that reached to her elbows hadn't been combed this morning.Neither had it been washed.

Then a telephone rang, and someone answered.

"Hello?" But the voice faded away down the hallway, and there was silence again.

It was just the girl, the machines, and the wires poking the girl's skin left.A television turned on.It sounded from another room. The reporter's voice tone and the words gave away that the person in the other room was seeing the news. The reporter had been speaking.

"Which you can see the damage clearly being done. The victims were shoved harshly in between the damage. They had no time to react, and there was only one survivor.A young girl by the name of Siren Velzaqui survived the horrible accident. She was found severely hurt and was immediately taken to Carpor Meols Hospital.Due to her traumatic experience, she would have to gain back her confidence,if she were to survive."

The nurse who treated Siren came back with a white bowl filled with cold water. She washed Siren's feet, hands, and face. She softly touched her lips with the cold water.

Suddenly Siren's finger twitched. And then her whole left hand. And then she clenched both her hands.

She mumbled something the nurse couldn't quite hear correctly. Then Siren turned her head to one side and sighed. The nurse took that as a sleeping position and went to grab some drinking water in case Siren woke up.

The nurse washed her hands, went away, and came back with water for Siren to drink. She almost dropped it when she saw Siren had woken up.

She seemed dazed and tired, barely able to stay awake. The nurse left the water in the counter next to Siren's hospital bed and was about to touch Siren's forehead, but Siren's eyes widened in alarm.

She grabbed something frantically, and was about to stab the nurse. The nurse backed away slowly.Siren had picked up a giant needle.

"It's okay,"the nurse spoke softly."I am your nurse.I'm going to help you."

Siren seemed confused, like if she was trying to figure something out.

"You're going to be okay,"the nurse said.

    "I,"Siren's voice was extremely hoarse,"I can't hear."

"Oh." The nurse went away to call a doctor and give the new information.

    "Wait!"Siren called,even though she couldn't hear herself say anything."Where am I?"

And then an even bigger problem faced her.She didn't know who she was.She didn't recall anything of what had happened. What had happened?

"Someone help me! Where am I? I don't remember anything!" She couldn't hear how loud she was yelling, but it didn't matter to her.

Siren looked around. There were wires. She traced back to where it led,and was freaked out when she saw the wires were in her skin. She looked around more and saw some papers. They said weird words and a name.

    Siren Velzaqui

Was that her name? She couldn't remember.Below on a blank space were more words, but handwritten in cursive. It was sloppy, but Siren managed to figure out what it said.

Parents found dead.Family members:aunt and granmother willing to take her in.

It was too much for Siren. What had happened? It bothered her so much that she couldn't even hear herself or remember anything at all.She was trapped in a world where she could only think, and everything else was silent. But she could only think to a certain limit.Everything else in her past was locked and far away.

Siren screamed. She didn't hear how loud it was.Men and women came rushing in.Some brought more machines and different tools.Siren was forced to lay down, the needle taken away from her.

The doctors grabbed a light and fixed it on her face. They tapped her legs and arms. They did many things, and Siren couldn't hear anything they said.

    "I can't hear!"she exclaimed,scared."I can't remember anything either!"

Then she felt a small prick in her arm. What was it? She found out soon enough as her eyes threatened to close.

    Open.Open open open open open!

No matter how hard Siren tried, sleep was taking over.Only thoughts swirled in her mind before it finally did.

    Deaf.Can't remember anything.Parents dead.

Siren was stressed, but really tired, and finally sleep took over.
