"Hun, you gotta go." my friend of 10 years Michelle told me over the phone.
There was this dumb party that everyone I knew was going to.Psssh. I didn't want to go...
"Oh, fine." I finally gave in.
"Great. There's a dress in the back of your closet. Now, I have to go to work. Ok I'll see you in a hour or so at the cafe." She said.
"Bye, love ya." I said.
"Love ya too, hun." She said, hanging up.
I'm honestly not sure how she managed to slip a dress in the back of the closet without my knowledge. I walked over to the closet in my room, from my apartment lobby, and opened it.
Inside was a strapless pastel blue dress, that went to my knees.
"I'm really confused." I said to myself. Was I really gonna wear this to a party tonight?
It was 8:40 a.m.
I better start getting ready for work...
_____
Cling!
The bells of the door rang, as I walked into the cafe. It was a small cafe that served coffee and a few types of muffins. Michelle's aunt owned it, so I had no problem getting hired.
"Are you going to the party?" I said, as I washed my hands.
"Duh. I couldn't leave you. I mean, I might if you end up going home with some guy." She said.
"I highly doubt that." I replied, as I tied a waist apron on.
"Just remember the streets of London..." she warned.
"What about them?" I asked, putting one hand on the counter, tapping my finger.
"They are hella dangerous..." she said, kinda loud. Her blonde hair shook a little.
I laughed a bit, in the way, where you don't open your mouth, but still laugh.
"I'm not going to do any drinking..." I promised.
"You better not..." my mom-like friend said, as her light green eyes pierced my (eye color) ones. She had always been a bit taller than me, so she could intimidate me at anytime.
We laughed again.
_____
After work (4:30) it was party time in an hour.
I straightened my (hair length) hair, and threw on some basic makeup. After that, I put on the dress and stared into the mirror, thinking of how we're all gonna di-
"Hey!" Michelle, ran in. She had her long blonde hair into a French braid. She was wearing a pastel green dress.
"Ready to go?" I asked.
"My cousin and his friend are picking us up." She announced.
"Great..." I said with a awkward smile.
I was going to avoid all conversation...
_____
"So... what's your cousins name?" I asked, as we sat out in the cold streets, waiting for our ride.
"Phil. His friends name is Dan. They're both nice guys." Michelle said.
Soon, a blue car pulled up.
A man with a brown fringe, that hung till his breathtaking brown eyes opened the door.
Another man, with a black fringe in the opposite direction with the most beautiful eyes you've ever seen, stepped out of the other side.
"Hi, Michelle!" Said the black haired man, which I guessed to be Phil.
"Hey, Phil. Hey Dan!" Michelle said, pulling them into a hug.
"This is (Y/N)." Michelle said pointing to me. Phil gave a warm smile and a big wave, while Dan shyly smiled.
"Hi." I said. I truly sound like a antisocial turtle. Dans smile widened a bit.
"Ready to go?" Phil said.
"Yeah! I'll sit up front with you," Michelle said. "Dan, (Y/N), you're in the back."
Dan and I shuffled into the back of the car, both buckling our seat belts.
"Ready?" Phil said, and without warning, he took off to the party.
