The S-Class trails, once every year always take place on the holy ground of Fairy Tail, I being an S-Class wizard means that I will have to help with the trials this year. Watching everyone run around trying to complete quests so they will be picked for the trails. Natsu too has been going on quests I have offered to help him but he wants to do this all on his own. "what's going on?" "S-class trails," I say to Lucy she looks over at me with a questionable look "it's a trail, for them to become S-class" I point at everyone running around the guildhall. She nods her head and then asks "have you seen Nastu?" so that's what she wants from me, she never talks to and when she does it's only because Natsu is around "no I have not seen him" I say turning in my barstool and taking a drink from my ale. I listen as I hear her footsteps walk away from me, I go to the stage and stand next to Erza.  

"Everyone listen up!" Erza yells

"The time has come, who will be in this year's trials?!" Everyone cheered as the announcements started

Gray Fullbuster

Juvia Lockser

Cana Alberona

Levy Mcgarden

Elfman Strauss

And those are all the people who will be in the trials this year, the rules will be said once we get to Tenrou Island, you can have a partner but it can't ask anyone who is an S-Class mage. This means these people are off-limits y/n l/n, Erza Scarlet, Mirajane Strauss, Gildarts Clive. That's all Good luck" Gramps says as everyone goes and gets their partners, I walk over to Natsu "congratulation!" I say as I jump onto Natsu, he laughs as he holds me back, "I did it!" "so who is going to be your partner?" Natsu turns to Happy and they both smile "Happy is" I smile at Happy "good luck you too...but just know that if we run into each other I will not go easy on you" I say walking away. Natsu and Happy just look at one other and smile "we wouldn't want it any other way!" they yell after me.

 "Cana" she turns to me and smiles, but it's not like her usual smile "what's wrong?" "it's nothing" I just stare at her and she watches me as well "is it about your dad?" Cana looks up at me in surprise "I have one of the best smiles in the world, and hearing as well" I say to her Cana just watches me as I watch her "how long have you know?" "since I first meet you and Gildarts"  Cana takes my hand in hers as we walk out of the guildhall, and she tells me all about what she planing "so if you don't win...you will leave the guild?" "yeah" I give her a sad smile "okay, well I hope you win then," I tell her she smiles at me and says "so do I"
