Always and Forever (Natsu x reader)

Welcome Back

****** 7 years later ******

Natsu pov

It's been 7 years since y/n has fought her father, after the fight Wendy tried to heal all her wounds, but there was only so much Wendy could do, and because she wasn't healed all the way her body put itself into a coma. Not everyone is sure that she is ever going to wake up, but I  visit her every day, so when she does wake up I want to be the first person she sees when she wakes up. I went up to go talk to y/n again, walking down the stairs I smell the scent of honey 'Lucy? What is she doing down here?' as I make it to the bottom I see her standing over y/n, but she talking so low that I can't even hear her. 

"Hey, y/n since it doesn't look like you are going to wake up, how about I go ahead and put you out of your misery," Lucy pulls out a knife and is about to plunge it into her chest, but I grab her wrist "what the hell are you doing?" Lucy jumps and drops the knife onto the floor "~Natsu...my love, I am solving a problem" 'her love?' "what are you talking about?" I say as I pull her away from y/n's body "I am getting rid of her!" she yells as she starts to pull away from me I let her go as she picks up the knife again, running to y/n she tried to stab her again but I grab her and slam her into the wall "why!?" Lucy stops fighting me as she stares into my eyes I bare my fangs at her.

"Because she getting in the way us," Lucy said I just stare at her "us?" "yes us, you and I," she says, bringing her hand up to my face she starts to caress my face "don't you want us to be together?" I hit away Lucy's hand as I let her go, standing in front of y/n, I call for Erza, she comes running downstairs "what's wrong? Did something happen to y/n?" I watch her as she stares at me and then at Lucy, I can tell she taking in the way I block y/n from her, "what's going on?" "Lucy is trying to kill y/n" I watch as a cold look appears on Erza's face, she turns to Lucy and grabs her harshly "you come with me," she says as they leave. I turn back to y/n and gently stroke her face "I will always protect you" I tell her. 

Erza pov

"Where are we going?" I don't answer Lucy as we make our way through the guildhall, I could tell everyone was scared watching me as I basically drag Lucy behind me. "master we have a traitor" I said everyone stop and look at me "and who is this traitor and what did they do?" Master asks "Lucy is the traitor and she tries to kill y/n," I said "no! I am not a traitor, I just need her out of my way!" Lucy says, everyone, I mean everyone was looking at Lucy like they wanted to kill her "after she saved your sorry-ass you want to kill her!" Gray yelled Elfman was holding Gray back before he could do something to her "steel yourself Gray" I say to him, He stops and made eye contact with me and then stood up straight.

"Lucy...you know that we don't hurt one of our own, that we are a family, and if you hurt one of us you hurt all of us. So because of this, you are hereby kicked out of Fairy Tail, You are not welcome to come back unless I say so." Master said "wait...No pleases I did kill her she still alive just don't kick me out please," Lucy says, "Get out!" Master says Mira gets the stamp and puts it onto Lucy's hand, she lifts it and the guild mark that was once there is now gone. 

Lucy left the guild crying her eyes out, trying to gain sympathy with anyone who would help give it to her, but no one would everyone looked away from her, as she left. 

Natsu pov

I was looking at y/n, her h/l h/c hair was all over the place, and she looks beautiful. "I had no idea that you could turn into a dragon, or that your father was the Acnologia," I say to her a bright light is shining into the room, I stare as I see a spirit-like figure of y/n, "what?" I just watch her as she watches me "never seen a ghost before?" "wait...your dead?" "no, stupid. I am using my magic to project my subconscious, so we can talk" I laugh a little at that "why didn't you do this sooner?" "because I didn't have enough magic to do so" she smiles, and it hits me how much I miss her smile the way it shines, and how her e/c eyes twinkle in the light "I missed you," she tells me, I can feel the heat of her hand on my face "I missed you too," I tell as I take her really hand in mine "when are you waking up?" 

She looks at me then her body "soon" she smiles at me. Y/n goes back into her body as it starts moving "y/n?"

Y/n pov

 Opening my eyes, I look to my left to see Natsu sitting there "hey" I say to him, he doesn't respond or even move he just looks at me as if I am really a ghost "hey, are you okay?" Natsu takes me into his arms, and picks me up, "hello to you too" I say to him, he puts me back onto my feet and stares into my eyes, and then he kisses me. "I love you" I find myself dumbfounded as I just stare at him "w-what?" "I said I love you" "I-I Know what you said...I'm just surprised, you said it" I tell him. He watches me for a sec, and I can see the look of disappointment on his face but before I can say anything he starts walking upstairs.  

"Let's go see the whole guild," Natsu said I stare after him, as a blush sets upon his face "what's wrong?" "Y/n your clothes," Natsu says to me, I look down and back at Natsu "STOP LOOKING" I yell, I grab the covers to cover myself, Natsu turns around "I will let you get dress," he tells me as he walks away.

It was sunset and I was outside, and like clockwork, Natsu sat right next to me, "hey" he says I turn my head to look at him and then back at the sun, "hey" "about what I said earlier...I'm sorry" I turn to look at him, and his handsome feature have a troubling look on them "so, you're saying you don't love me?" "what no! I do love you, but it was wrong of me to say it right after you just got out of a coma" He wasn't looking at me anymore once he said the last part, so I pull his face to mine, and I kiss him, I feel him smile into our kiss as I open myself to him, and he takes all of me. I pull away panting for air as I say "I love you Natsu Dragneel" "and I love you y/n l/n" we lay there for the rest of the night, watching the stars.
